i actually really like the food here. but unfortunately not the waiters. i came in with a bunch of friends and we were greeted and sat down. we ordered our food and everything was okay until we asked for some takeout boxes. i don’t think the waiters can tell but i am vietnamese. i knew every word they were saying about our table. one of my filipino friends asked for a takeout box and i heard one of the waiters, a older vietnamese lady, she was complaining to her other co workers and saying why can’t she finish her food, she is fat and the dish is small compared to her. she said this in vietnamese and she probably assumed that we wouldn’t know what she was saying. she obviously thought wrongly. this is honestly disgustingserviceand is so rude. i would have been happier if she spoke spoke english to us and told that to our face instead of speaking vietnamese and complaining behind our backs. this place needs to teach their workers to speak english because not speaking in the same language as a customer is rude. customers may not know what the workers are talking about. i am vietnamese and after hearing her talk to her co workers about my friends and our table like that is so disgusting. so rude. btw every waiter is not like this. this was just the one waiter who was a bit older and wearing glasses. kinda vague but you probably get the point. don’t speak in vietnamese to trash talk about customers. hopefully you actually read this and take the time to change something.

favorite place to eat w hen dining in regina! vermicelli bowls, yellow curry and the spring rolls are all must-try menu items! centrally located, consistently delicious, and greatserviceevery time.

average. not the best, not the greatest, an okay place to hit up if you're out of choices. the foods okay,serviceis meh, but its all good.

great friendly staff, very reliable food...absolutely have never been disappointed in my meal. i know what i am going to get and i am going to get a delicious well-cooked thai/vietnamese meal that will be served piping hot with quickservicefrom some very nice people. some people have commented to me that their meal timing can be a bit funny (ie appetizers come at the same time as the meal) but don't sweat the small stuff. if you go there, you will have a great time with friends in a place that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable and you will leave with your cheeks rosy from being treated so well.

05.02.16 - ordered a noodle bowl and ginger beef. the ginger beef was nice and crispy, but i think it might have actually been pork?.. didn't really taste like beef. the spring rolls, noodle bowl and chicken were good! lots of food per serving!servicewas a little slow, but it was worth the wait.

very good. 5 of us went for lunch friday at noon. place was packed. but their was no wait for our table.servicewas very fast. never had empty glasses on table as server was always filling them with water. food was delicious abd great prices. will definitely being going back.

upped the prices? maybe update the menu pic to reflect that. charges $6 for delivery and then tries to talk us out of it! you don't want our business? we will gladly go elsewhere then. wow. cannot believe the lack of customerservicewe received (or didn't).

superb lunch specials and consistently awesome vietnamese food.serviceisn't the best, but i personally like that they're not in your face like some places can be.

really bad. i don't understand how anyone likes this restaurant. theserviceis meh, and the food is mediocre at best. anyone who thinks this is good vietnamese cuisine, has not eaten any type of vietnamese food other than this. to people who think this restaurant is good, i beg you: travel to any city other than regina, and eat their vietnamese food. then you will truly realize the awfulness of viet thai. because good vietnamese is so so, so much better than what this place serves.

good food, full of flavor and the best thai food in regina. the decor is a little dark, but that doesn't particularly matter. customerserviceis a bit lacking though. they interact with you at the bare minimum, which would be fine, but that means your first drink is your only one. food sometimes doesnt arrive at the same time, but it's rarely ever an issue. get the spring rolls. seriously. do it.

great food. i love everything i have tried on the menu, especially the red yellow and green coconut curries, as well as the lemongrass stirfry, peanut satay, everything really. i've also had a bite of my friends' meals and i've loved them all too. so good, and huge portions. not great forservicebut who cares.

great food- terrible service. so i absolutely love the food here, but it's really unfortunate they have such extremely horrible service.
the employee answering the phone is an absolute jerk- no manners at all.
the servers in house have no social skills and lack in any politeness at all.
i just recieved a take out order and after it taking 1.5 hours to arrive it was the wrong order.
the woman on the phone insisted i told her beef instead of chicken, after argueing with her for ten minutes and being yelled at that it was my fault and my mistake, the first man who i ordered from tried telling me i was wrong as well.
i told them they would be happier if they just sent me the chicken rather then me come down there and embarrase them.
in the end i got my chicken.
very disappointed viet thai.
my suggestion, get your customerservicetogether and you'd have a chance.

not to bad. viet thai was pretty good. goodservicethe food was decent, atmosphere not note worthy. i heard so many people tell me to try the spring rolls so i did, and they are very good. the entrees were nothing special but still tasty. i would recommend it if you are already in the cathedral area and want some food.

terrible customer relations. we order out from the viet thai from time to time as they are in our neighbourhood. i have never had warm friendly customerservicebut i have frequently been treated poorly. tonight i called and when i made a special request for a small change to a salad roll not only was i turned down but i was hung up on. how many people can you treat poorly before you go out of business?
