fast and fresh. decent food, decent prices,goodservice.

i've never had an issue eating here. not the best vietnamese i've ever had, but was better then the worst i've ever had too!

my family use to always order from here, but eventually we got tired of the same old flavours. the dishes hardly ever came out the same as we had them the last time, and were very inconsistent. other than that i think they servegoodand basic chinese and thai food.

won't be returning. pros: large portion sizes and quick service. cons: bland food and poor service.

i ordered a chicken vegetable stir fry but i got beef instead. instead of apologizing, the waitress said that beef is alsogoodand that i should give it a try. i regret not insisting that i get the chicken but i doubt it would have made a difference based on the quality of the food.

really bad. i don't understand how anyone likes this restaurant. the service is meh, and the food is mediocre at best. anyone who thinks this isgoodvietnamese cuisine, has not eaten any type of vietnamese food other than this. to people who think this restaurant is good, i beg you: travel to any city other than regina, and eat their vietnamese food. then you will truly realize the awfulness of viet thai. becausegoodvietnamese is so so, so much better than what this place serves.

best place for lunch. i've gone for lunch at viet thai hundreds of times over the years. it is always excellent and the prices are cheap. i would however recommend avoiding the pork (roll) vermicelli (the #1). it is still reallygoodbut the pork sometimes has fatty parts/strings (which some people like but i detest picking out). just go with the shredded pork, chicken, beef or extra spring rolls instead. another option is the won ton soup, best i've had in regina. please note that everyone here is vietnamese, their language skills are limited and aren't particularlygoodat entertaining. nothing bad but don't go here for the personal experience, the staff is not engaging at all.

agoodlunch. viet thai performs best when you stick to the commonly ordered items on the menu. the lunch menu is wonderful for this. the small selection of items are all cooked as expected, and provide agoodexperience.

good food. i have visited this place number of times with my office colleagues. if you are looking forgoodthai food, viet thai is agoodplace. if you are in a hurry, always order from their lunch special as it is served very quickly. but if you have time, try the items of their menu..
my favorite is pad thai with shrimps. their servings are pretty generous as well.
will definitely visit them again.

i like it. i've never dined in, but i've ordered off their menu several times. i'm can't say that their food is amazing in any particular way (at least what i've ordered hasn't been), but it's consistentlygoodand delivery is fast!

really?. food is good, but not great like it was 3-4 years ago. i see the old owners of viet thai occupying saigon by night now, and that place is awesome. everything i use to like at viet thai is now at this restaurant. better food, better service, and an owner with agoodpersonality. if you want better than average, go to viet thai, if you want great, go to saigon by night!

not to bad. viet thai was pretty good.goodservice the food was decent, atmosphere not note worthy. i heard so many people tell me to try the spring rolls so i did, and they are very good. the entrees were nothing special but still tasty. i would recommend it if you are already in the cathedral area and want some food.

combo dishes!. i ordered the combo dish. the shrimp and pork fresh roll was perfect. just asgoodas anything i have had. the chicken and beef mixed vegetables was fresh and tasteful. the dry spare ribs were numerous, and the chicken fried rice was great. the price was very reasonable. i did find the service was slow, it took awhile to get a glass of water. the inside of the restaurant was a little rough looking. the quality of the food made up for it, though. aa

a favourite for 12+ years!!!. the food is always fresh and full of flavour. generous portions, so bring your appetite. they also serve vegetarian dishes.

my favourite is the shrimp and pork fresh rolls--i swear i could live on those! my family and i have been coming here for years. i discovered this place when my daughter and i were into dancing with ramed in the late 90's. it was the group hang out after the show at the globe every spring--awesome memories!

i go back every chance i get. no other place makes fresh rolls asgoodas viet thai! their other dishes aregoodtoo, of course!
