absolutely the best concept with best ethnic assamese food. be it the different chutneys to curries, all tastes like home food. guys you can have a pretty good time with your family and friends in this restaurant. and i really want to point out about the owner(including his family members) who is so down to earth and took really good care of us. also shout out to all the ladies who served us. their outfits, attitude everything was so nice. p.s: they only provide buffet system and no à la carte and it's pretty good. buffet price : 490(including tax)

also the main attraction is obviously "palki" the human robot who will serve you the welcome drinks!

it was wrost experience being there.the quality of the rice is not got all.and buffet meal is not tasty at.the fish smells alot and gave me bitter taste.worst experience.

they call it "tradition with fusion", partly true ..i liked the ambience, the hospitality of the staff.. specially the "robot welcome part". but here i would like to add that they can improvise on their taste specially the chicken curry..the chicken was a bit stale..but rest items were delicious no doubt.. and q bit more variety can be added in the starters as people focus more on startes than the main meal in buffet meals.. rest it's 10/10..

the buffet food was so tasty, it's pure assamese cuisine without spices and all...
one of the best assamese cuisine restaurant in guwahati, the staff is so polite and humble and the owner is so well mannered and polite, really love the starters paneer pakora, sweet corn, fish pura, prawn pakora and chicken fry... plus the main course was also damn tasty...
the price is reasonable at 490 per head including tax...
in dessert i loved the suzi ka halwa which was made in pure desi ghee...
will definitely visit here again...

the owner and staff were very polite n humble. ambience was good. very hygenic. a striking fact is that its an all women restaurent which is vey inspiring n empowering. the buffet pattern is awsome. starters are too yummy. but the main course items are not that tastey. can improve the main course. for dessert suji halwa was served which was again mouth watering. u guys r doing really grt. keep it up. bt ya have a lot of scope to improve the main course.

eeeewwwww....food was cold and the fish smelled like rotten carcass.....additional money for extra meat in a buffet arrangement is totally absurd....contradicts the very basic concept of buffet.....tried to be assamese version of barbecue nation but fell flat on its face....lastly, the price is too exorbitant for such experience...please people, invest your time and money somewhere else as both are hard earned and difficult to get....

oh i loved this place . excellent ambience and service and an unique experience in guwahati. an assamese buffet is not common even in assam. there are variety of assamese dishes that you can have and not shell out a fortune for that.

didn't know assamese buffet place existed in guwahati...but it does and is fabulous.

it's not really good place for ethnic food. compare to other restaurants price are quite high and they do not have much variety also. need to improve a lot..

very bad experience. at this price heritage khorika, missing kitchen etc are far better. rice quality not good, dishes are so simple, less verity.

visited the place yesterday. it was really a place i'd like to visit again, for the well mannered staff and response, the hygiene and cleanliness maintained, the sophisticated outlook and also the food of course. i attended a buffet of rs. 400, that includes the main course and the dessert, whereas if you want to add starters, then just add up 90 bucks more. if authentic assamese cuisine and homely food is what you're looking for, you'd love this place for sure. so all in all, it's a thumbs up!!

i'm quite sad with my experience here. they charge quite a good amount for the whole buffet meal that they offer. for a place like guwahati, it is already overpriced. they have only fish and chicken. they charge u additional for mutton. none of their food tasted good. everything is fancy and the service is good. but sadly the food is not at all upto the mark. their fish gave me puky feeling all day

this place is like barbecue nation, where you can sit and grill and chill. but the concept is more assamese. one can enjoy the traditional assamese food in just 500/ per person, and the food will make you feel homely.

buffet of home cooked meal , no surprises , no prawns, no varietys , actually not a buffet just charging for left over yesterday nights stale food .

my experience in uruka was not extraordinary. i felt it to be a bit overpriced for the number of items and the quality of food they serve.

the starters were a let down. we opted for the non-vegetarian buffet. firstly we got a sour welcome drink. then the starters came pouring in. they gave us a street style american sweet corn, veg pakoda, paneer pakoda, chicken padoka and fried fish. the paneer pakoda was really tasty. the chicken pakoda was like the street pakodas you get these days. i felt that the number of starters were really less.

the main course was a let down. they had all sorts of typical assamese chutneys, curries but they lacked that flavour. and there was only chicken and fish curry available. no mutton or any other protein. i only loved the kosu jool and the pumpkin fritter in main course.

the desserts were yummy however. they served cut watermelon slices, curd with jaggery, sooji halwa and coconut balls. i loved them.

the service was a highlight. the staff comprised of only women in traditional mekhela sador and they constantly were asking us for refills and stuff. i really hope they can improve their taste and the quality. otherwise it's a very nice concept.
