i had the misfortune to take my friends for lunch at uru. i booked my table online only to find that we would be seated outside in heat without a fan. i had to request 3 times for water to arrive.

ordered some drinks and starters. mojito and peach rose drink arrived soon and very well made. kudos for that. but food didn't come for 45 min. when we enquired, we were told it would take much longer. finally had to walk away hungry as we had to watch a play at 330pm. i felt embarrassed in front of my friend and decided not to come to uru again to avoid such horrible experience. as the name suggests uru... u r ughhh

sourav suggested us to order food and beverage, mocktails. all tasted nice. we got them on time not much waiting time. he helped with suggestions.

first of all, nobody to help you seated and you have to just roam around asking every staff member for place to be seated. second of all the place is full of houseflies. thirdly the food ordered does not meet your expectations ( we ordered a greek salad, and none of the required ingredients were present in it ). fourthly, the place was very hot, suitable for either evening and or winter afternoons. last but not least, staff does not care what your concern or complaint is. totally waste of money and especially time

had the most pathetic experience this evening in bangalore/ j.p nagar. 100% would not recommend. pathetic service and rudest staff i’ve ever come across. we waited for over an hour, they then took us to a table where water was leaking from the canopy. the staff then had the audacity to be rude and dismissive. people who came after us were then seated inside because they were a party of 10 and we 7. the most disgusting staff these rude women waltzing around with walk-i e talkies like they’re doing you a favour. finally after waiting for over an hour we left and went elsewhere!

the waiter posed as the floor manager and ended up arguing with us instead of resolving the trivial issue. kind of ruined the whole vibe.
