ohh i have visited this place just once and for all. no doubt i liked it but you know, there are some things that disappointed me. i love the interiors and the gigs, the live shows, the music and whatever there used to be going on, but, damn, it's so congested man! i'm claustrophobic i guess, but no, everyone would say that. to its woe, there's no separate zone for smoking and that's terribly unhealthy. well, i didn't take food much there so this would be my half review on it. the prices are really uphill. kingfisher strong comes at rs 250/- whereas beers costlier than this like magpie, comes at rs 220/- at other places. anyway, i enjoyed my first time here on valentine's day and i don't know if i would be visiting next time. shall try hard! till then, cheers!!

good ambience, tasty tandoor item though the place is a bit congested but like the ambience and the food..... but slightly disappointed with the management, as they offer only beer pints even though they got the 650ml, the excuse is that it's not cold. even though ordered and asked them after 2hours they give the same excuse.. in that case it's either their refrigerator is not work or that a pretty good idea to earn some extra bucks from the pints

i have been to this place a couple of times now and i would recommend you to go and check this place on your own. i can't come out with an accurate judgement because i loved this place on days when they don't have live music. on a live music night, this place is exceedingly over crowded with the worst sound equipment which might as well blast off your ears. apart from that, idk why, they never have any beer other than kf. however, during my last visit i ended up ordering liit which was not quite up to the mark. i have tried liit at number of places and theirs is the least appealing in taste. but you can sure as hell pay a visit and get an opinion on your own about it.

love the place. loved their pork burger. it was quite different from the other burgers i had and was very yummy. added bonus the live music.

shitty service, i ordered steam corns worth rs 210 .... came just half cup corns with no salt and lime nor any garnishing. called the waiter and put forwarded the matter to him. he showed me the table salt instead and said the customers add salt by themselves (my head was about to burst) and when inquired about the lime he said they only add lime when asked to. this happened on 5/07/2017 during afternoon time.i was just so furious by the whole matter that i just paid the bill and rushed forgot to see the waiter's name. but he was of late 30s and had a mouthful of betel nut. even a hawker's 40rs steam corns are much better than what i tasted and worse was the waiters attitude.

till date the best customer service and the food, i would like to rate 10 on 10. bartenders are really good and they have a professional friendly nature. unplugged shows tagging along with electronic music is icing on the cake. i would love to pop in to urban mantra again.

the place is well suited for youths and food is also pocket friendly. they host some live concerts which keep the place lively. the food is well suited with alcohol. a good place to hangout!

very bad , worst food i had in guwahati among all the pub, and the place is very small and gets to crowded . service is so poor and management is not good as well

urban mantra must be the top list of all party loving youth of the city...the place is awesome and is always happening with a trendy crowd...with its dreamy lights and smoky interiors it reminds one of sitting in a pub of goa or bali...though it gets a bit crowded sometimes due to its cramped space but the ambience it offers makes up for it...last saturday i paid a visit along with my friends and we enjoyed till the midnight...moreover the live music is awesome and we happen to witness the performance of band lateral which was mind blowing....the food is great...its a super place to hang out with friends or close ones over drinks...the price part is also reasonable...

this review is purely based on an order made via home delivery. i ordered a pork with bamboo shoot and mushrooms (290 bucks). i made this order through cityora but they didn't update the necessary details about their taxes on their app, so the total order sums up to 345 bucks(according to the app), but the receipt from urban mantra summed up to 363 bucks. and i was like what the f? however i kept my calm and paid the deliver boy the aforesaid amount. anyway for 280 bucks, you'd expect that the food would taste good. but guess what? it didn't. they used those tinned tasteless mushrooms in brine, the pork was drier than my hair during fall season, the sauce bereft of any real flavor and the only thing that sort of saved the dish was the bamboo shoots.
overall, a very bad experience!

went there for a quick beer one saturday and found it mostly empty which was odd. service was okayish, but needed to ask twice for order. prices are at par with most good bars in city.  ambience is good for relaxing with a beer. good music too!

nice little pub which is located in this area.
had heard about this place from a few friends so i decided to check it out when i was in guwahati.
firstly the way to this place on the 3rd floor was really shady...the staff i found was very uptight and uncooperative when we wanted a place for two; i was expecting a friendly staff in a place like this with a chill vibe and happy environment.
then they only had kingfisher beer on the menu which i found to be inconvenient
the food though was tasty and very reasonably priced.
overall i think this place has potential to do much better and gain a bigger number of customers who would love to be regulars here.

pluses : reasonable prices, good music, tasty food
negatives: slow service, limited menu, lift to the place was broken and ancient.

nice restro, it always remains crowded. food is good.what make is more aweome is the environment and live performances.. parking space is not an issue here. you cam come to this place to chill out with your friends.

we ordered drums of heaven, which is by far the best i have had in a while. then came the fish dips with fries, and that was good too. quantity is good compared to the prices. the barbecue chicken was average, as it seemed the sauce was more on the bitter side than on the sweet side. and the manchow soup lacked the noodles that i usually get in other places but the taste was great nonetheless. honey chilly chicken was too sweet so i did not like it. overall it was a good experience
