urban mantra boasts of an exuberant ambience. the place attracts a good crowd, especially on weekends when it remains packed to capacity most of the evening. the ambiently lit interiors coupled with live bands belting out hit numbers in sync with the taste of the frequenters which mostly comprises of 20 somethings and the right amount of booze does help in providing a comfortable atmosphere. speaking of atmosphere does reminds me that smoking is permissible inside without any designated area for it, so those allergic to smokers and smoke fumes, beware. beer is limited to two popular brands and the waiter was on the qui vive to point that out quickly when i was browsing through the menu. service was neither prompt nor tardy. the plate of chicken satay which i had ordered didn't impress me much as i found the chicken to be rubbery. even though there are a few areas which 'imo' calls for some improvement, in totality urban mantra is a nice place to hang out withfriendsor chill out on your own. hic!

went withfriendsfor the first time. the place was empty except for one table as we reached late afternoon and also it's a weekday. they've put in their efforts to get the feel of a lounge to this place. it shows on the walls and also the seating arrangements. we ordered for budweiser and millers beer, but both weren't there. so we settled for tuborg. that was a bummer.

there was slow music playing at the background and the atmosphere was relaxed. it was a good choice to grab some beer and hang out with friends. food was good but service was really slow. but i am happy to see such places opening up in guwahati. i don't mind going back to this place and chilling some more

the serive was great. music was great too. but the place is too suffocating. they need to make it abit more spacious. food was scrumptious. on a brighter note, i shall recommend about this pub to myfriendsas well.

well i have been visiting this place since 2016..and it is my all time favourite..i just loved the ambience,though...its not too spacious yet it gives a different vibe to me and myfriendsafter a long day work,to chillout..the rates are pocketfriendly like any other bars.. chillychicken dry is my all time favourite.. just love it.. it grabs attention mostly on weekends.. sometimes they have dj nights,and mostly live gigs... staffs are friendly and good.. overall its a sweet lovely place to go with ur gang.. it will give you the feeling like being in some countryclub ... kudos u.m. 👍👍👍

a good place to hangout withfriendsfor dinning out after a long drive. we had ordered chicken lakmikai, chicken barbeque stick, pork in oyster sauce, smoked pork salad, prawn in garlic and mushroom, prawn in chilly oyster sauce, pork schezwan fried rice, pork and chicken sizzler with cottage cheese and caramel custard. the taste are just awesome and had enjoyed a lot.

they best part about urban mantra is their pricing. every time i have been there it never feels like a hole was burned in my pocket. apart from that the place is really nice. though it is a bit conjusted still the decor is pretty good. the food is also acceptable. this is a place one can visit often and never get bored. take a big gang offriendsthe next time you go there it will be a nice evening spent.

urban mantra must be the top list of all party loving youth of the city...the place is awesome and is always happening with a trendy crowd...with its dreamy lights and smoky interiors it reminds one of sitting in a pub of goa or bali...though it gets a bit crowded sometimes due to its cramped space but the ambience it offers makes up for it...last saturday i paid a visit along with myfriendsand we enjoyed till the midnight...moreover the live music is awesome and we happen to witness the performance of band lateral which was mind blowing....the food is great...its a super place to hang out withfriendsor close ones over drinks...the price part is also reasonable...

nice little pub which is located in this area.
had heard about this place from a fewfriendsso i decided to check it out when i was in guwahati.
firstly the way to this place on the 3rd floor was really shady...the staff i found was very uptight and uncooperative when we wanted a place for two; i was expecting a friendly staff in a place like this with a chill vibe and happy environment.
then they only had kingfisher beer on the menu which i found to be inconvenient
the food though was tasty and very reasonably priced.
overall i think this place has potential to do much better and gain a bigger number of customers who would love to be regulars here.

negatives: slow service, limited menu, lift to the place was broken and ancient.

its a great place to chill withfriendsto have fun times. it is our regular destinations with friends. service good along with ambience. food is good.

the last of the mohicans.the urban mantra's chant is one that helps you unwind after a good days work. they cherry pick new and upcoming artists who perform live while you sit back and enjoy the whisky that you so deserve. couple your drink withfriendsand like magic your night will light up. so go and recite the urban mantra when the night is dark and full of lovers. cheers!

ws here on a weekday .. the place is fine ..small but nice .. the crowd is nice .. the only thing i like bout t place is that the price for drinks n food is quite reasonable n will fit ur pocket unlike few other places which r charging way too high .. but not a plc to go for a weekend if u r with a group offriends.. the only big problem with this pace is t washroom , only one person can enter at a time n rest have to stand out n wait for ur turn .. bt this plc is worth a visit .

i love this place for its live music sessions! the place is a bit cramped up, but if you're there with friends, it hardly matters. i have a good time there, always. the food is quite average and the cocktails can be notched up a bit. i have had liits and compared to what the other places are serving, this place has to up its cocktail game. it's a good place to chill with yourfriendsin the weekends, with the beers and chicken coming in! :)

this is myfriendsrsturant and i just love their foods , come some have some , wonderful space to hangout withfriendsand have fun .... delicious foods

as the the name suggests restro lounge but i dont think it has the lounge feel to it. its more kinda restaurant with bar. nevertheless it looks good, you get a nice view of the g. s. road. service was not the best but definitely they can improve. the bar is not that well stocked but still you have pretty good choices from the bar menu.

ordered a pork in oyster sauce but hardly tasted any oyster sauce. chicken garlic was good the garlic was not that overpowering. hakka noodles mixed which had little bit of pork chicken and egg thats it. i was expecting some prawns as well but there wasn't any. and a cold coffee. the food was good, prices are also not that high. met the owners of the restaurant, they were very polite.

service. 2/5. definitely need some improvement.
taste. 3/5. its a good place to have some drinks with yourfriendswith some snacks but not place for excellent food.
