urban mantra restro lounge

had worst experience today. serviceguys were pathetic, even though it was less crowded during the time we reached. we were asked to move from one table to another than another. the staffs were friendly previously but right now they are least bothered about the guest.service& staff behavior should be the prime concern. when we were about leave without having our food none of the staff took any initiative to be humble. i suggested
my friend to accompany me in the restro but she had a negative image about the brand. please give good training to your staff as it use to be my favorite hangout place..i use to love the ambiance. best wishes!!

too start with we very tired climbing up the three floors of staircase. as we entered into the empty restaurant everyone staired at us. we sat and asked for the menu to which we were told that this is more of a bar than a restaurant. still half the food dishes were na and badservicefor the price, could have been better....

it's and ok ok place. surprisingly the veg here was better than non veg (tried both chicken and pork). theservicewas very slow, specially once the crowds started coming in. also considering the fact that it's supposed to be karaoke lounge, only one guy kept singing the entire evening. so overall i am disappointed with the place.

urban mantra boasts of an exuberant ambience. the place attracts a good crowd, especially on weekends when it remains packed to capacity most of the evening. the ambiently lit interiors coupled with live bands belting out hit numbers in sync with the taste of the frequenters which mostly comprises of 20 somethings and the right amount of booze does help in providing a comfortable atmosphere. speaking of atmosphere does reminds me that smoking is permissible inside without any designated area for it, so those allergic to smokers and smoke fumes, beware. beer is limited to two popular brands and the waiter was on the qui vive to point that out quickly when i was browsing through the menu.servicewas neither prompt nor tardy. the plate of chicken satay which i had ordered didn't impress me much as i found the chicken to be rubbery. even though there are a few areas which 'imo' calls for some improvement, in totality urban mantra is a nice place to hang out with friends or chill out on your own. hic!

went with friends for the first time. the place was empty except for one table as we reached late afternoon and also it's a weekday. they've put in their efforts to get the feel of a lounge to this place. it shows on the walls and also the seating arrangements. we ordered for budweiser and millers beer, but both weren't there. so we settled for tuborg. that was a bummer.

there was slow music playing at the background and the atmosphere was relaxed. it was a good choice to grab some beer and hang out with friends. food was good butservicewas really slow. but i am happy to see such places opening up in guwahati. i don't mind going back to this place and chilling some more

while theserviceis good and the portion size very good, the quality of the smoked pork was far from desired. it was half cooked and tedious to bite

this place is very homely and theserviceis great. quite comfortable which makes it a great place for enjoying a couple of drinks

this has been my go to place for a long time. i'm more than glad for the indoor smoking. i don't see what's the complain about the staff and "shady" part in the reviews. it's a bar, not a freaking lightshow. the staff is nice and accomodating. theserviceis a bit slow, yes. but it's still worth the wait.

visited this place for a evening out and had a great time. place is little congested but the ambiance is good for a pub. ordered chilli pork to go along with the bottle of beer and two cocktails namely sex on the beach and blue lagoon.serviceis bit on the slow side but since it is a pub i don't mind that. chill pork taste pretty good so thus the cocktails. overall, i really enjoyed my visit here and definitely recommend it to spend good evening along with some good food and booze of course. cheers!!!...

regarding space for the dance floor it can be little bit bigger.

food is alright and theservicealtogether is okay. not so fast but definitely not slow. the staff responds well.

a good (as well as bad) thing of this place is that they allow you to smoke inside and don't have a separate area. while for some it's fine, others may find it uncomfortable.

still haven't experienced the live music though 😁

the pork was so sweet. yuck!
one can only enjoy drinks and the enviro. food is not even good. but theservicewas ok. thumbs up for the corner seat. try to play some heavy metals

lovely place for lively lovely evening. the ambience is really good and the service, best. we had crispy fried chicken and barbeque pork with chilled beer and our evening was made . beautifully cooked with ingrediants used to the very best, it was the most delicious item i have tasted in ages. definitely coming back here sometime in future. however,the place becomes a little tightly packed in the late evening. felt a lil congested for that,however the wonderfulserviceof the staff amends that😊. do remember to wave a hello to the beauty you find there, yes thats the best thing i met there- a beautiful black labrador, whose company took the evening to a mile better💜

i have been seeing people tagging this place which is very near to where i live , so when my best friend was in town this sunday , i decided to take her there for good food and drinks . the first thing that turned me off is the way the staff greeted us with almost an idgf attitude , they were not helping us with the tables or so , no water served and you don't have a smoking room hence people had to lit their cigarettes inside the lounge which was almost suffocating and yes if i'm not wrong there was only one fully-working air conditioning. about the food, being a bar lounge the options for quick bites and fast food is minimal, the 'chakna' disappointed us the most which was only a plate of roasted peanuts. theservicewas lethargic, instances where i had to get up get things done. the food tasted okayish. coming to the price , this place is a bit overpriced . you might have to burn a hole in your pocket if you love to drink on a weekend .

they charge high ,also didn't like the service..they provide food with less quantity and highservicetax.ordered..chicken tandoori received fried ones ..will not visit again
