u & me restaurant

this was one the worst restaurants i've ever been to. theservicewas so bad, all the workers there were so impolite. we asked for tea and he came back and said "here" so rudely and then he spilled the tea on the table too. one guy in the corner was complaining how he wants salt and he asked like 5 times and he still never got it. every time i asked a question, they would always be so rude in giving the answer. and what's worst was the end when we went to pay, they took my friends money and said that the rest was for tip. he payed around 30 dollars and his meal was about 20 and they took his 10 for tip. it was the worst restaurants ever. but the chicken was pretty good. yummmmyyy

who is the owner for this place? staff would not give me the name or phone number.. paid more to get extra meat in the noodles, did not get it. came back and they reused my noodle and added a bit more meat. lmao, what a joke. to cheap to make a new dish?

apparently manager is never there, lol. no wonderserviceis terrible.

extra meat was undercooked, i had to give it to my dog. hope he will be ok.

it was ok. prices are a little steep and parking is expensive during the week. i came here a few times, if i need dim sum i'd only come on sundays when it's free street parking.servicewas average, selection is decent. they didn't have the traditional push carts so you have to order everything by the menu (at least it's in english).

the food is good, theserviceis ok. in my opinion, i think the buns are the best.

we like westernized chinese food & there is plenty available here! lots of items to chose from on the menu & portions are very large. good food but nothing we've tried sets it apart from other restaurants we've tried that serve westernized chinese food. it's theservicethat sets it apart! we've never been & not seen a high volume of customers continuously being served here. given how busy it is the food comes out surprisingly fast! staff are consistently attentive, efficient & polite.

chinese food is my comfort food. and shomai reminds me of the days when i was in my hometown dating. ha. so basically, the shomai i was eating back home was yummy but not as full as this one, in u&me restaurant. and mind you, the shrimp inside was overwhelming. i thought i ate it all but hey, my every bite the shrimps says hello. the wanton soup was bland for me, but that's fine just add s&p. i ordered shanghai fried noodles and i was able to take home half of it since one serving is always good to share. if you are craving for more dumplings, they hay it here, the usual price is about $6+ for dumplings. jasmine tea was complimentary. theservicewas good too. so probably i will come back for their dumplings.

always a great place for late night food. u & me is open from 8 am to 4 am! the food is always fast and fresh andserviceis decent if you get here before midnight. the dim sum is really good and the hot plate items are large and a great value.

this place is alright if you're looking for somewhere to eat late at night, other than that i wouldn't go out of my way to come here since i also have to pay for parking. theserviceis not the best, you really have to stare at the server or make hand gestures to get someone's attention.

the food here is pretty good. average dim sum with really good prices. i loved the pickled cabbage and beef noodle dish. also very good chicken feet.
theservicehere though!! omg!! it's not just terrible, it's impossible! the worst of the worst!!! our waitress didn't even come take our drink order for 45min, never checked on us and completely disappeared after she brought out our starters. we had to get up and flag someone down to get refill and order more dishes! for this reason i will not be back. ever.

came here late night with the family. and quite surprised food was delicious!

definitely order the xiao long baos, super juicy and i would say the best i've tried in calgary. all the food came out piping hot and i didn't pay, but i think the prices were all pretty reasonable.

service was not good. when we ordered, she told us to give the chef 15 minutes, while he eats dinner, before he would start cooking our dishes. we waited a very long time....30 mins and we're getting extremely hangry. to wait that long at a chinese restaurant is unacceptable. i get the chef needs to eat, but they need a second chef, or have customers come first. i can respect the fact she told us, but dang we were hungry.servicewasn't attentive either

this is a 24 hour restaurant with dim sum all day and night. theservicehere is a hit and miss as the servers can be the typical asian restaurant servers who can care less but expect lots (of tips). the food usually comes out pretty fast at any time of the day and they have good dim sum!

we went there 4 of us with my family. theservicewas slow and not very friendly staff. after the meal we got the bill and there was an automatic 15% gratuity charged to the bill. i think that its not that worth it to give that much for gratuity. a rip off definitely not coming back.

theserviceis always a hit and miss here but the food is always yummy! i love the dim sum here and the fried rice! lots of choices and it's open till 4 am great for late night cravings!

love the late hours & the cheap menu. been here twice, once after midnight and the other during dinner time (6-7). theserviceat night is super slow had to flag the waiter multiple times. at dinner time they were quite fast with the service

the absolute worst food i've ever had!!! me and my friend came here after a hockey game for late night grub. we ordered mussels in black bean sauce which was completely inedible. it tasted like it was doused in salt to mask the seafood stench that clearly couldn't be masked. one tiny bite of the salt and pepper squid and i could taste the msg. it was also extremely salty! but the oyster was worst. we also ordered the short rib with black pepper on the hot plate. we were so excited to see it come out sizzling... but once it was cooling off i could see the fat and corn starch glistening over the dish... the only dish that came out good was the bbq pork bun and shrimp and beef dumpling. but even that couldn't make up for the rest.
theservicewas horrendous as well. we weren't asked how our food was at all and when we had our plates untouched by the end they just took the dishes and packed them up for us without asking if they were okay. such a waste of food! i was told that they auto grat the bills as well... which we weren't informed of...
what a terrible experience! i'm most definitely never coming here again.
