u & me restaurant

i only go to chinese restaurants with my parents and they all seem bout the same but food was good i guesss. would probs come back with my parents again.

not recommend. our family went there this afternoon. .the service really bad ..first we went in two girls been asked what we want to drink then after ten minutes they were talking at the counter instead of bring us our tea
then we ordered 13 dim sum dishes but only hv 7 available. ..
the most funny thing is we order deep fried custard bun you know what they give us steamed custard bun instead so we told them we ordered deep fried instead ..but the waitress said we don't have deep fried anymore ..oh my gosh ...you can't do that ..should let us know you don't have it ....... if things you don't carried why don't just deleted from the menu ...
we like the restaurant a lot before but can't believed now ....we will not go there any more ...so disappointed. ....

don't order the fry shrimp with egg, so gross

good food, bad service. came here after watching a concert. dim sum was great, but the experience was overwhelmed by poor service. our waiter was grumpy and placed food just anywhere on the table not caring if he pushed your stuff (and more importantly your chopsticks) off the ground! no apologies! we had to order things twice because the waiter either didn't hear us or couldn't understand. the last draw was when we asked for ginger oil and what he gave us was ginger ale!

food wasn't even good and we received the worst customer service. don't go here

mouldy mango pudding. we came here for dim sum lunch on feb 8, 2015. we ordered 2 plates of mango pudding for our sons, among other items. one of my son spotted moulds on his pudding. we quickly called the waitress and showed the mouldy pudding to her. she apologized nonchalantly and brought the pudding back to the kitchen, as if this happens very commonly. later on, the lady manager came to our table and apologized as well. those 2 puddings were taken off the bill (we still paid for the rest of the food). this place is dirty, unsanitary and even smells of moulds. definitely won't go back.

popped in last night after a concert and had some amazing dim sum. order off the laminated menu. they brought us out the best tea ever to start. bbq pork buns were best ever. nice staff.

terrible food and service. my experience here was just terrible. as soon as my pals and i walked into the restaurant, i noticed that they have unprepared food left near the fryer, just there cold and collecting as much bacteria. as soon as we ordered, my pals and i noticed how fast our food came through (literally took them 2 minutes, enough to heat up food in a microwave). that says a lot of how they prepare their food. i would never come back here and would not recommend it at all, but if you manage ending up in this restaurant, always ask for the price of any add on/ recommendation.

my favorite place to eat!. i make it a habit to go at least once a month to this place. i never went to china town to eat until a few years back when i met my boyfriend, who is asian. we went once and i was hooked. the century egg congee, pork dim sum, chinese donuts, shanghai noodles and ginger beef are fantastic. i have been coming here for years and the service is fast, staff are always the same group and so friendly. yes, no debit under 30 dollars but trust me the food is so worth it!
i would pick eating here over an expensive steak house or french restaurant any day.

great for after hour dimsum. gets a little rowdy when the bars close, but good eats :)

great dinner at u&me. went for dinner, found the food was totally legit, although beef in the beef & turnip hotpot was a bit gelatinous. i'm eager to go back for dim sum.

standard of service - poor, quality & authencity of food - very good value for money. when you walk into this restaurant strike off the word "service" from your mind, to the extent that you may feel they compromise with hygiene often, though i have never had any trouble after dining here. when it comes to authenticity of taste and quality u & me sure stands out ! this was told by a cantonese friend of mine. the dimsums(especially shrimps) are healthy and light. dishes made of duck & chicken feet are really tasty! the lotus seed bun is light in sweetness and an authentic recipe here. all who dines here would agree that the quantity served is huge. so lone diners like me have to be very careful while ordering and a box accompanies me back home always. none of the dishes from starters to entries have disappointed me till date. unfortunately i have never been able to taste the late evening dishes that they only serve after 9:30 pm. i will have to break the rule of early supper one day for that. overall, very good value for money, though not the most cosy one.

my best choice for great food at a good price. food in u & me is always found fresh made, hot delivered, and nice, i love it. service is very nice as well, staff are friendly.
