two dudes restaurant

i went there for the first time today looking for a fresh filet of fish to make home made fish tacos! the owner was super friendly and helpful and sold us a mahi magi filet for a great price! the filet was so fresh and amazing! they pride themselves on serving genuinely fresh shrimp , nothing frozen! i can't wait to go back and try the famous fish tacos. new favorite spot !

best burger at the beach. we went to two dudes for fish and i ended up ordering a burger after seeing another customer enjoy the one she ordered. omg ~ it was nirvana. it was grilled perfectly, as per my request and topped with shitake mushrooms. just incredible!! also, the straw onions were crispy and very tasty.. my friend had shrimp tacos, which were loaded with plump and juicy shrimp.service was great , too. two dudes is a hidden gem...

food was amazing! shrimp po boy was to die for. they let us sample the sea donuts and i'm now hooked for life. the owners are very nice and friendly. wonderful place overall!

great customer service. the dudes are genuinely concern about providing a great dinning experience to the customer. loved the mahi mahi!

service not so good. our food was good, a little over priced for the portion, blackened mahi with grilled veggies. the sauce was the best part of the meal. but when i ordered dinner i let the server know i needed a togo order as well. she said ok thats fine let me know when you want me to order it. about 1/2 way through our meal i ordered the same dinner i was eating. she walked off and then returned to say the kitchen was closed and they would not turn the grill on. this was at 9:09pm. nor did she acknowledge that i told her eariler i wanted a togo dinner. once i paid out she brought my change with no ones...and said sorry i don't have ones, so i was forced to tip her 5 dollars. at this point i let it be known i lived right down the street and would not return, i went to sundog instead and got their blackened mahi, which is a larger portion, just as fresh and costs less. not to mention their service is always great:)

bad food/bad service/bad location. dont waste your time visiting this dive. you can get better quality seafood and way better service at any fast food joint. the food was cold, the portions were small, the service was slow and rude, not to mention the management were clueless, arrogant and in need of a reality check. the location of the place is terrible and hard to get into and out of. pass on this greasy-spoon and dont make the same mistake we did.

great food-very fresh! staff is cool and it's laid back and friendly. one of our new favs.

everything i wanted in a fl fresh seafood place. two dudes was a great choice to eat seafood by neptune beach. food was fresh, my wife and i had the mango & lump crab meat quesadilla app. special which was delicious and blackened grouper and grilled snapper for dinner. all the fish was cooked and seasoned superbly. the staff was speedy and nice, the two dudes were there also and both introduced themselves and were obviously very involved with the running of their restaurant. the bill was cheap too. two dudes is perfect if you like unpretentious good seafood served with a smile. it was the best food i had around neptune beach.

we will be back soon!. great family atmosphere, friendly staff, fresh seafood at very reasonable prices. i would highly recommend the shrimp! xoxoxo

top notch!. i heard their commercial on the radio and had to investigate. the atmosphere was casual and the staff was very friendly,. they were also very accommodating to my 16 mo. old son which was a huge plus. the food was great. you could tell everything was fresh. the seafood was cooked perfect and so were the grilled veggies. if you go, you must try the key lime pie. it is one of the top two slices of pie that i've ever had. i will gladly go back and support local fishermen and seafood!

what a crock. let me start with the fact that i came in the other day. the service was good,but, the food (flounder grilled)tasted like it had turned a day or two ago and was pulled from the dumpster, cooked with to much seasoning,and slapped together in a tray with what was supposed to be a mango-wasabi coleslaw. where oh where was the mango or wasabi? must have left it at the store cause it sure wasn't in the slaw. the price would have been good had the food been fresh as the name says.i think you will be better off getting frozen fish and shrimp from captain d's. this is one resturaunt i will never go to again and i sure wont refer anyone else there either.

this was nasty. this place is so nasty, there food was gross to over cooked and didnt taste right and they serves was so bad, all the girls were just standing around and not helping at all i asked to fill my drinks 5 time and i had to get up myself and get it i would pick any sea food place but this place. i was disappointed, i will not be coming again.

can't wait to go back!. soft shell crab blt was delicious and had a yummy "house" sauce, which was some sort of aeoli. can't beat the $9 price, which included a side. i chose the mango wasabi coleslaw, which was just ok. it tasted like generic coleslaw with a hint of wasabi, and i couldn't find any hint of mango. blackened shrimp (12 for $10 or $11, included one side) were really good and spicy...no shortage of seasoning on them, which was nice. fries were awesome. service was super quick and friendly. atmosphere was perfect for a beach location. overall great experience. can't wait to go back. :)

fantastic!. read a review and just had to try it. nice casual atmosphere and very friendly staff. the soft shell crab basket was great. you must try the mango wasabi cole slaw. three of us had dinner and everything we ordered was fresh and well made. we will return . . . often!
