what a great place to eat the staff was friendly and their seafood wasfreshand taste great

a hidden spot worth a visit for casual dining and fresh, tasty seafood.
we were here for lunch and things never really got quiet. busy with a lot of locals with a very laid back and friendly vibe.
fresh fish specials on the board to choose from, as well as their daily menu.
i loved that you could select portions as lunch size or dinner size, with pricing adjusted accordingly - such a simple concept that other restaurants could implement.
we shared a calamari starter. this was tossed with onion rings and squid headswhich made for an interesting and great flavour and texture combination.
i had the cobb salad withfreshshrimp. hesitant at first since my initial introduction to cobb salad demonstrated that it isn't exactly the healthiest or low calorie option. but this was great - fresh, not shy of ingredients, tasty, yet healthy. my husband hadfreshfish of the day - one he had not tasted before - fresh, succulent and delicious.
prices were very reasonable and we haven't seen that price for oysters again since we've been in the us. so we're planning to go back there to indulge!

excellent service, very cozy, remarkablefreshseafood with appetizing sauces to compliment the entrees. have been twice now, thefreshspecialties daily will keep you trying something new.

great service even better food. my wife and i had heard a lot about 2 dudes seafood. all of our friends told us how good the food was so we finally decided to check it out ourselves. we came in last night on tuesday and the restaurant was busier then i expected but that did not take away from the great service that we received. from what it looked like there were 2 servers on staff for the entire restaurant and they worked extremely well together constantly helping each other out. they both were extremely pleasant which contributed to the overall friendly atmosphere. our server recommended to us a great bottle of wine and two extremely tastefulfreshcatches. the mango wasabi slaw is to die for! it was all extremely filling but the way that he described the coconut cake we had to give it a try. boy did it pay off! best coconut cake i have had since moving to jacksonville 10 years ago! overall i highly recommend to anybody 2 dudes seafood. the atmosphere is pleasant and the service was outstanding! very friendly as well as informative. 2 thumbs up

sometimes being a grown up is not fun. for example, when you have to do your taxes. sometimes it’s not so bad, like when you reward yourself for doing your taxes by trying out a new restaurant. it was on such an occasion that we stopped in at two dudes eatery & market for dinner in atlantic beach. address: 22 seminole road atlantic beach, fl 32233 two dudes is in an old, retro shopping strip right off atlantic blvd. over the intercoastal waterway in atlantic beach. by retro, we mean the building was old and maybe could use a face lift. it’s next to a laundromat and an auto insurance place. it’s a low key location, to put it mildly. but it turns out that fits the feel of two dudes pretty well. the restaurant feels like the kind of place you’d want to come for somefreshseafood after a nice long day riding the waves. it’s definitely a laid back sort of place. there are mayb

this place is the bomb diggity for some beachfreshfish. i make enough money to eat at expensive fish places but there is no need to break the bank when this place is open. it looks like kind of a dump from outside but is clean as a call girl on the first call of the night inside. the bar is a little tiny so grab a table if you want to be comfortable.

great food for a great price. i visited last night with the members of 7 bridges scooter club on our weekly dinner ride. although they had been there before it was my first visit. it really lived up to their accolades. we were a party of 10 at 8pm and the wait staff was cheerful and helpful. everything was made to order and wasfreshand tasty. our party's meals ran the gambit from burgers to calamari, tacos to snapper. my meal in particular was the grilled shrimp platter with sides of onion straws and the wasabi slaw. the shrimp was grilled with just the right amount of seasoning, the onion straws where lightly done with little grease and the slaw was wonderful. we will definitely be back!

food is fresh...service is questionable. i love seafood, but i also love a deal. kids eat free here-one kid free with each adult meal. there were three adults and three children this day. i had the fish and chips and the other adults had the shrimp. all the seafood tastedfreshand was really good, however, the service was a little below average. first, my youngest child squirted ketchup all over her and i used all the napkins on the table to clean it-the waitress never even offered to help. i had to take cocktail napkins from the bar to try to clean up the mess. i tried to get her in the bathroom to clean it up, but there is only one bathroom for boys and girls and it was occupied. when i finally got in the bathroom there were no paper towels in there either! still...no help from any staff member. also, every time we asked for something the waitress's attitude was not good. the kids were standing up at the end of the meal and the owner gave us dirty looks about that. if you are going to offer "kids eat free" then you need to accept what kids do-with a positive attitude. i would go back again b/c like i said the food was good, however, if the service is still below par i will not be back.

this is hands down one of the best restaurant in jax,freshseafood, great service. best seafood in town.

a must try!!!. i love this place! its got a creative menu and its super cheap. the seafood is reallyfreshand the service is wonderful. many places have died in this location don't et it happen to two dudes!
