two dudes restaurant

great food great people!!!. i love coming to this restaurant not only for the food but the great people who work there. i always feel welcomed the second i walk through the door they are even kind to my children which is a big plus!! i will put twodudesat the top of my list of favorite restaurants to visit :)

twodudesis simply the best kept secret at the beach. great food, large selection of beer and wine and the freshest seafood around

great service even better food. my wife and i had heard a lot about 2dudesseafood. all of our friends told us how good the food was so we finally decided to check it out ourselves. we came in last night on tuesday and the restaurant was busier then i expected but that did not take away from the great service that we received. from what it looked like there were 2 servers on staff for the entire restaurant and they worked extremely well together constantly helping each other out. they both were extremely pleasant which contributed to the overall friendly atmosphere. our server recommended to us a great bottle of wine and two extremely tasteful fresh catches. the mango wasabi slaw is to die for! it was all extremely filling but the way that he described the coconut cake we had to give it a try. boy did it pay off! best coconut cake i have had since moving to jacksonville 10 years ago! overall i highly recommend to anybody 2dudesseafood. the atmosphere is pleasant and the service was outstanding! very friendly as well as informative. 2 thumbs up

twodudesseafood. don't know why it's listed as armenian restaurant. its seafood at it's best. simple and delicious. mango wasabi slaw is killer, just like everything else.

sometimes being a grown up is not fun. for example, when you have to do your taxes. sometimes it’s not so bad, like when you reward yourself for doing your taxes by trying out a new restaurant. it was on such an occasion that we stopped in at twodudeseatery & market for dinner in atlantic beach. address: 22 seminole road atlantic beach, fl 32233 twodudesis in an old, retro shopping strip right off atlantic blvd. over the intercoastal waterway in atlantic beach. by retro, we mean the building was old and maybe could use a face lift. it’s next to a laundromat and an auto insurance place. it’s a low key location, to put it mildly. but it turns out that fits the feel of twodudespretty well. the restaurant feels like the kind of place you’d want to come for some fresh seafood after a nice long day riding the waves. it’s definitely a laid back sort of place. there are mayb

hidden gem. blink and you'll miss two dudes. it sits in a tiny strip building and doesn't look like much but you've heard the old saying "don't judge a book by its cover". the food is excellent. huge portions with some of the freshest seafood you'll ever have. everyone in our party enjoyed their food. my wife and i order the baja tacos and each had a grouper (blackened) and mahi (marinated in 2dudeshouse marinade). both were excellent. another in our party had the seafood cobb that was piled high with crab and shrimp. the other person chose the macadamia nut crusted grouper. the service was a little slow but we were in no hurry. i just chalked the longer wait to them making everything fresh. i would highly recommend hitting up two dudes!

man, this place is the place for the best choice food in the entire jacksonville's beaches area! went there for the 1st time just a week ago or so. the staff greeted me w/ a welcoming smile (always important), i was seated right away, although this may not always be the case, as twodudeshas gotten so popular :) and the food....deeeelicious!!!!! i had the mahi mahi tacos & hands down the best around ! im a huge fish taco fan & am really picky. these were so fresh, so heavenly delicious it felt like i was committing a sin, lol. love this place & recommend it highly to all! 5 out of 5 *****

yesterday i was frantically looking for a place to eat. me and my family of 5 have eaten everywhere up and down jacksonville. my husband was tell me all about this place, so i decided to take a chance and go. right when i walked in we got a happy greeting from the friendly staff. we started off with loaded fries, and they were amazing! then we got a goofy foot with shrimp and grouper, both blackened. i thought i was going to fall out of my chair! it impressed me. we never ate all of it because there was so much!! last but not least my daughter was begging me for some strawberry long board, therefore i got it for her. i had a bite and i may say it was nothing like i've ever had. to top everything off we had really good service, the lady with blonde and light brown hair; informed us about everything we needed to know. thanks two dudes, we will see you soon(:

best restaurant at the beach!

ate there with a party of 6 last night. started with crab- mango quesadilla... amazing!!! we shared everything from blackened grouper to fried shrimp, all were the best i ever had. sides included mango- wasabi slaw, veggies, and fries... devine! then we shared strawberry longboard and chocolate tsunami and they were also delish!

our service was great and we even got a visit from chef ace which made our night. what an awesome experience and thedudesis my new favorite restaurant!!

2 dudes. the only thing i did not like about 2dudesis...
i can't make up my mind...it is all so good !!
i want to eat everything on the menu..lol
so, i guess i will have to just keep going back!!
i had the fish sandwich and it was soooo yummy!
but, i was jealous of my husband...cause he had the
biggest shrimp...can't even discribe the size..lol

disappointed. been to twodudes3 times. first two awesome had a great time... last thursday we had a party of 5 and only 2 tables open in front room and reserve signs on the tables in the back room so waitress helped us move the 2 tables together. after 20 min we tried to get the attention of the waitress and was told wait a min... 2 people came in sat at the bar got drinks and ordered food and we still can't even get the table clean. after 30 min we walked out and neither one of the waitresses said a word to use... sad such good food and so poor service. get them some help!

nice, fresh, and cooked perfectly. i have seen this place for the past monthes. i had to drop in and i was really surprised that this place was pretty cool. nice beachie decor and some local artwork to. i ordered the blackened scallops and they were sauted perfectly. nicely charred (caramelized) on the outside and just cooked thur with a good kick to them also. the waitress was very nice and helpful with a couple of menu questions. now for the sides she suggested the slaw (i'm on a diet) over the fries or fried onion rings and it was very nice and had a little kick. now i'm a townie but will make the drive to return to thedudesfor some great seafood.

update - totally awesome dude!. tried to go on sunday, didn't realize they are now observing "winter hours" so they are closed on sunday. what a disappointment -would think a better a better day for "twodudesto rest" (according to their sign) would be a monday.

totally awesome dude!. omg, talk about the way seafood should be served! this places rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! chew chew and i went here today for lunch. superb service from wait staff, owner and cook. had the fried grouper basket with onion straws. the grouper was the best that i have had in more than 10 years. many restaurants advertise they have grouper and serve a less expensive fish hoping the diner doesn't know the difference. this was the real deal, super fresh, flaky and tender. chew chew had never tried grouper before and was amazed at how awesome it was.

all i can say is this place is now one of my faves and anyone who doesn't make a trip here is missing the boat (pardon the pun).

1st time at twodudesand loved it! food was good, owner super nice. i'll definitely go back.

word to all diners: if you are searching for a restaurant that is outside the box, fresh, and the food is great, twodudesis the place. just pretend you are a pirate on a quest for booty - your treasure chest is on the corner of atlantic boulevard and seminole road in atlantic beach. x marks the spot!!!
