every time we seem to go here the hostesses mess up our table. last time we gave them our name and they said 45 min. after close to a hour i go check with them and the neglected to write our name down! told we would be the next group sat and after another 15 min they put us in a back room at a makeshift foldout plastic table- the manager was trying i have to say because he comped us apps and a round of beers- we ordered ourfoodand after a hour and a half we gave up and left. i get being busy on a friday night but staff accordingly! take three to four of the hostess positions and hire more kitchen staff or servers. doubt we will ever be back

love this place!. this place is great! some of the bestfoodaround and the beers are great as well. the atmosphere of the place is really nice and the interior decor is fun and lively. the outdoor patio is nice on a summer day. you must try the pizza. some of the best i have had in all of the abq area.

good pizza, great staff!. just walking up to the place you can smell this aroma that gets your stomach growling. thefoodis awesome, and the staff is very friendly! i have taken all of my friends from out of town to this place, one who lived in england for a year and claimed it was the best fish and chips she had ever had! try it out, the drive is worth it!

service sucked ... and that's being nice . we use to love to eat here thefooduse to be fantastic...did management change or did they stop caring about customer service ... the beer andfoodis not worth being disrespected ...

knowing the owner reaps rewards. my family and i were next to be seated on a 40 minute wait. i was keeping track because my child was hungry after swim practice. this couple walks in, the man carrying a growler, and we're given a pager and told they had an hour wait. they walk out to the foyer and walk back less than 3 minutes later, hand their non-activated pager to the hostess and they are seated. i went up and asked...to which she pointed her eyes at the owner and said he said to do it. they took our booth! i looked back the past 12 years of reviews and notice this happens time and time again. greatfoodand come here a bunch...well...that may change now. it benefits to know the owner.

worst service ever!!!. thefoodis over seasoned and the service was so bad, when i called to tell the owner this.. instead of apologizing he put me on hold to talk to his mom and then proceeded to tell me he wasn't going to do anything about it.... i will never go back and would advise everyone i come across to stay away!

always good. we were there this past wednesday evening. we split a valle grande salad, a sun mountain grinder, and a red rye beer. the salad and the grinder are marked with a little turtle on the menu, meaning that these are house specialties. and that they are! this was plenty offoodfor the two of us. our waiter knew that we were going to split these, so he brought extra plates without even being asked. service andfoodprep was prompt.10/23/15 update: we were there early afternoon.  they were busy, but able to get us right in.  our waitress was prompt and took ourfoodand drink order.  the oku amber was very good.  the valle grande salad and sun mountain grinder are both very good and very filling.  we like it and will continue to go back...

our party of 3 had a great experience here! great atmosphere & friendly staff. all thefoodwas hot & fresh. we had the black mesa pizza, manzano calzone & the fish & chips. delish! we arrived 15 min before the kitchen closed so we very happy they were able to serve us!!

greatfoodand beer. i love eating at brew pubs. this is one of the best i've visited. usually thefoodor the beer is good...this one had both. neff (our server and one of the managers) brought me 6 samples of their brews. i fell in love with the 7 hop ipa. thefoodwas really good and the service was friendly and prompt. the owner sat and talked with us about micro-brews around the country and welcomed us to his establishment. stop here...you will be happy you did.

one of my family's favorite places to eat in abq. outstandingfoodand decent microbrew. restaraunt is clean and the service is friendly and fast. it does get crowded during peak dining hours so plan to wait for seating if you aren't early (worth the wait, just order a microbrew).
