habanero bbq sauce. the atmosphere is great, the music is ambient and appropriate. my boyfriend and i shared habanero bbq wings to start and the cabezon pizza. the wings were fantastic. the habanero bbq lingers as a flame in your mouth but the sauce is so good that it's worth the burn. the pizza was cheesy, a little too cheesy, and the toppings were messy but i would have it again. the wings, pizza, and 3 draft beers came to be $44. pricey for what it was but still is good. the server wasn't obtrusive, and he was there when we needed him. he answered all our questions pertaining to the beers and food. a very pleasant, laid-back, non-chain restaurant.

love this place! consistently good food and beer. the apple calzone dessert is amazing!

our party of 3 had a great experience here! great atmosphere & friendly staff. all the food was hot & fresh. we had the black mesa pizza, manzano calzone & the fish & chips. delish! we arrived 15 min before the kitchen closed so we very happy they were able to serve us!!

i was happy to find this establishment on the west side.  the staff was friendly and the food was pretty good.

great food and beer. i love eating at brew pubs. this is one of the best i've visited. usually the food or the beer is good...this one had both. neff (our server and one of the managers) brought me 6 samples of their brews. i fell in love with the 7 hop ipa. the food was really good and the service was friendly and prompt. the owner sat and talked with us about micro-brews around the country and welcomed us to his establishment. stop here...you will be happy you did.

good burgers, too. ask the server before ordering specials. the bread crumbled from around my hotdog one sunday, the server said the bread was old.

food was average at best, over priced, waited over 20 minutes for a table that was open when we walked in. really crowded... beer was good though.

the fish and chips are one of the best in town.

one of my family's favorite places to eat in abq. outstanding food and decent microbrew. restaraunt is clean and the service is friendly and fast. it does get crowded during peak dining hours so plan to wait for seating if you aren't early (worth the wait, just order a microbrew).

my wife and i shared the nachos and shiprock pizza. both were delicious. service was good and it was nice to get seated by the projection tv to watch the basketball game.

i still liked it :). we came in last weekend with 6 people to watch the football games. the staff was awesome and let us sit in the banquet room that had 2 tvs and a projector. changed the games for us upon request and were all around fantastic.

for lunch, i had the cerillos (philly sandwich) and a side salad. i should have probably just ordered a salad because it was fresh and delicious. i ended up going home and making another salad for dinner hoping to get similar freshness. the sandwich although still decent, did not fare as well for me. there was just sooo much bread and cheese and so little of anything else. i ended up peeling off the cheese and eating the little contents of the sandwich with half the bread.

the rest of the food at the table looked and smelled delightful, from the fish and chips, to the greek salad, to the pizzas and the calzones. i would absolutely come again though, just not for the sandwich.

nice atmosphere, great pizza and an excellent selection of beers. the "shiprock" pizza was awesome with just the right mix of sweet marinara sauce and spicy sausage. i also liked the "red rye" beer on tap, one of the many self-made brews and an outstanding red. i will definitely be back!

great beers, fun people, best damn pizza and calzones in albuquerque

tmbc has some of my favorite local brews and very good pizza. such a shame that this brewery/taproom hires kids to run their hostess desk and often does not offer service on their patio. we probably won't return.
