trio- three strikes & you're out!. hostess was very pleasant and seated us on the patio. the server was a little pushy about taking our orders, we had barely sat down & he was insisting on taking our drink order. we moved tables to be in the sun and that seemed to throw the waiter for a loop (we were still in his section). we were sitting next to a couple with a child and started chatting with them. fortunately, the one man ordered the same dish i was contemplating; cobb salad. his salad arrived with a visibly rotting avocado and bean sprouts, which he sent back. i decided not to order the salad, rather fish tacos. but wait, where had our server disappeared too? finally, i assume it was one of the owners who came to take our order. later the server appeared, unbeknownst that our order had already been placed. the food arrived and was mediocre at best. overall- strike one- iffy service, strike two- poor quality of food, strike three- over priced. truthfully, we almost left without ordering. if you decide to dine at trio, i hope you have a better experience.
