we are there last night and have to say it was not the greatest experience. we waited about 10 minutes before the server ever showed up to take our drink order and that was after we had to ask if there was a server for our table. he gave us an excuse that the hostess was not suppose to seat the table since he had other tables on the other side of the restaurant. poor excuse...a good server always checks their section, especially when they have another table seated next to us that they were also responsible for. needless to say, the service wasn't the best. we ordered an appetizer antipasto plate which was delicious, but unfortunately this was not the case with our entrees. one of the 4 pasta dishes that was ordered in our party was under cooked to the point the pasta was still crunchy. my spaghetti bolognese was definitely nothing to write home about. the pasta was gummy and the sauce lacked seasoning. very disappointed. if i ever decide to go there again i will stick with the appetizers and skip the entrees for sure.

my boyfriend and i ate here last night, the food and service was horrible. we arrived (after calling ahead of time for seating) and the restaurant was about 80% full, we were told to wait another 15 minutes, there was no seating at the bar or availible waiting room, when we finally sat down to order appetizers and drinks which took close to 30-40 mins to get our apps they were ok, nothing memorable and lacked flavour. the server made excuses they were really busy and the kitchen was backed up but it is no excuse. we ordered our entrees before our appetizers where brought out but it took well over 45 minutes to arrive, to the point we had to ask for our food. managers should be looking at chit times and doing table visits. my bf ordered the surf and turf with garlic mashed potatoes. the steak was blue rare after he ordered it medium rare, the mashed potatoes looked like instant potato and looked like soup, it was disgusting and not edible. i ordered the pine nut salmon, the salmon was dry and the vegetables were soggy with water in the bottom of my plate everywhere. we did not finish our meals. the manager or owner not sure which came out, covered in food and not presentable and said he would take the steak off our cheque. this is a poorly trained and managed restaurant. we asked for our bill which took forever to come only to sour our experience even further. the server looked at us when we complained as if it were the norm. we paid our $80.00 bill and went next door to eat supper. do not waste your time or money here.

food good service ok. i will say the food is good and they give nice portions. the ambience is new and inviting with a relaxing feel. my issues are the service. i own a few restaurants and i feel they need a strong st! aff behind the bar. they look like they are lost and all over the place
when serving desert or any coffees to your guests, you should clear plates first.... and don't give me a soup spoon for my espresso lol and don't tell me your guests keep stealing them, order more! please keep your shells clean and dust free behind the bar and anywhere else dirt or dust is visual. i could go on and on. this place is not a bad venue, just needs a little help with the training of the staff. thank you for taking my opinion and hoping that this will make a better venue for your future guests.

this fish was cooked perfectly. it was so flaky and wonderful. the sauce it came with was a lemon-butter sauce but it was wonderful. it also came with a risotto. risotto is something that is either is a hit or a miss. the chef either gets it right or terribly wrong. this time is was definitely a big ri

not consistent and dull. had lunch twice. first time was acceptable. second time was a disaster. they do offer gluten free pasta, but they change the type each time so you may get rice penna one time and corn spaghetti the next. they also seem to change the dishes from the menu so you may get something totally different than described on the menu. first time had chicken parm. which was a little on the soggy side and wife had pasta rustica with gluten free springs pasta. second time she got corn spaghetti with the same dish. both time they got the sauce wrong. second time i ordered the herb roasted chicken which a did not accept and had returned to the kitchen. the chicken was white and rubbery skin no roasting to it. it looked like a boiled chicken pulled from a stock pot. i ordered something else, but by the time it came back my wife had finished her lunch. the did comp my meal. all in all the food is a little better than olive garden and priced about the same. so if you like surprises and olive garden food then you may like travinia.

took our server's recommendation and tried the chicken sinatra. surprisingly sweet but delicious. everyone at our table loved it, even the classics that get overlooked like lasagna and chicken parmesan. make a reservation and enjoy.

excellent food- good prices- great location! travinia is located in market common, directly across from the grande 14 movie theater. they have great food, tons of choices, and an option to order smaller portions if you have a smaller appetite. the veal ravioli is out of this world and the wine choices are excellent as well.

simply awesome. last night, we had the pleasure of dining at travinia. john was our excellent server. everything was just incredible. the veal raviolis we had as an appetizer were unbelievable. i had the veal saltinbocca and my husband had the veal piccata. wow! both were served over angel hair pasta and we were delighted to see that we were served a veal chop instead of the usual scallopini. john was an excellent server.
there was a jazz ensemble playing that added to the atmosphere of this delightful restaurant. the prices were very reasonable. i can't wait to return!
