glad we stopped!. we came for the legendary blt and we're blown away by thequalityof the bacon! delicious! we ordered a blt and a rueben and split them 4 ways. definitely not disappointed!

we finished our meal off with an amazing, gravity defying banana split that inspired my 18 year old daughter to do a "happy yum yum dance" with each bite. split 4 ways it was a great value a well!

this was a memorable stop on our journey. the place is a bit dated but you get that old fashioned diner feel. a nice break from the same old chain restaurant scene!

rip off.. wasteful serving sizes, over priced, gross environment, and poorqualityfood.

deep fried bacon, nasty!. the quantity andqualityof tony's is an urban legend of the tony's before the birch run mall was built, when "jibber" used to run it. after jibber retired the place went down hill. yes, there are large portions of bland, poorly prepared food because they charge a lot for the item a person orders.

one example of how thequalityof food has gone down hill is the steak sandwich which is what tony's is noted for. years ago, when a person ordered a steak sandwich, a person got a large portion of meat between normal size slices of italian bread. now when a person orders a steak sandwich, the person gets huge slices of italian bread and hidden between the slices is a small portion of meat. if you want a goodqualitysteak sandwich avoid the br tony's and stop at one of the other tony's. each tony's in independently owned and i recommend the tony's on gratiot in saginaw and grampa tony's in bay city. the br tony's is a tourist trap that should be avoided.

i have been there a few times and am sad to say that the foodqualityhas declined.
this time i ordered the cubed steak & cheese sandwich. the bread was great but the meat was ice cold and they forgot the cheese... so sad to see...

horrible food, terrible staff, filty building. i had been to tony's as a kid and wanted to take my kids there - big mistake, this is not the place it used to be. sure you get huge porportions - but thequalityof the food, staff and the buildign are poor at best. we were seated right ...away - took 20 minutes for our server to acknowledge us. the table was filthy - the floor was covered in food from the last people that ate at the trough. ordered a blt to share with the boys - took a half hour to get our food. bacon was not cooked all the way and was mostly fat... fries were cold and soggy. we did not eat much of it because it was horrible. then we sat for a half hour for our bill - i had to walk around and ask three other servers to find our waitress to get the bill. cashed out and told them how bad the food and service was - and she could have cared less!!! i miss the place i went to as a kid - i will not be going to tony's ever again!!!!

volume notqualityserved bere. a few of tony's recipes are good but they try to wow you with boatloads of food at a more hefty price than the used to. but thequalityof the bacon is real bad. it is because the drop bacon in the deep fat fryer to make it. it is sooooo tough. not possible to eat a bacon letuce and tomato sandwich.

spaghetti is simple so hard to screw up but their sauce is a bit watery. meatballs are pretty good. like the wopp salad.
