new favorite. our first visit. found tonto bar & grill on the list for arizona restaurant week. what a great place!. pretty grounds and nice southwest ambience. we selelcted from the special menu for restaurant week. our server, tanya was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. our starters were the beetsaladand the arugula/brie salad. both generous, well composed with house made dressings. we both selected the pork schnitzel entree with german potatosaladand green beans and carrots. it was fabulous! gorgeous presentation and very delicious. desserts were the grapefruit cake and a warm chocolate buttermilk cake with chocolate ganache sauce and pecan ice cream. we were so happy and so full. we'll be stopping back this summer, the menu looked really good and the special sounded delicious. a+.

beautiful atmosphere with outstanding service. i like the all day menu they offer. they offer maybe a half dozen different salads with a choice of a half dozen different proteins and dinner all day. i ordered asaladthat was big and fresh. my salmon was cooked nice and was good but didn't seem like the best quality to me. since thissaladcost $15.50 i was expecting a little better but it still was ok. i did notice they offer grass fed beef and local beef so i might have enjoyed something beef better here. i do plan to give them another try sometime.

best. favorite is park schnitzel with warm potatosalad- yummy! have yet to have anything otehr than a wonderful meal here.

really liked tonto. the ambiance is alluring and the staff superb! the cobbsaladwith chicken is my favorite !!
