just had the worst dining experience today. same situation with 2knight but thistimei have my 4 year old daughter with me which made the situation much worse. we were even asked to make a choice of leaving or waiting...
the manager, laura, who greeted us and placed us on a waitlist. after a looooong wait, we were finally seated at 11:45 am, then we asked for the lunch menu... yep, the same dim witted blonde waitress, explained the same policy, was not even looking at me while explaining the policy ( she was speaking to the walls)., we have to leave the table while she spent 5 minutes explaining, which gave us 10 more minutes before the dreaded 12 noon policy. we stood up, with my kid fretting coz she was that hungry... then i told brianna, the hostess, why we were not told of such policy, and brianna asked laura to let us just sit and laura answered an indignant no! brianna explained to us that she was just new in her job but laura just stood there and instead of showing some empathy, she said, "well, you can either leave or wait". with a 4 year old kid getting hungrier, we waited.
brianna made an effort to give us table , and we were given a table at 12:20 pm. nevada, the server, the saving grace of the day, was all smiles, we asked her for kid's lunch menu, she immediately served my daughter's vanilla shake, however, it took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive,
the food was okay. however, it was marred by the service.
nevada, apologized when she got to know what happened and was empathetic to my daughter.
bottom line- never again
