better than a five star restaurant. tippler's tap has the bestsliders(mini burgers) in the southern hemisphere, and i have tried them all. i am a professional specialist hamburger reviewer. the chicken wings are the bargain of the year too.

stumbled across this place, they have cosy cabins on the outside to sit. the craft beers are great and with the good food, they complement each other well. thesliderswere good, however on this occasion the bun was a tad bit dried out. the hot dog was done well.

overall would come back to this place again and try other menu items as well.

i went to tippler's for the first time a few weeks ago and shared some sliders, wings and chilli cheese fries. the chips were good and thesliderswere very nice - the pork belly burger being the most impressive looking but hardest to eat. the wings were really crunchy and zesty and the beers were fragrant. good stuff.

have been here a few times. last time had the new menu. the new menu is the old menu with price hikes and a few added extras. now $12 for wings, $7 or $8 for corn (not as nice either, comes with less toppings) andslidershave no 3 for $15 i think it was. they are all to be paid separately.

new addition we tried was the beef sandwich massive, but for $16 you'd hope it would be! comes with no sides, just a lot of beef in a long roll.

tried the fries - very salty.

when we go back it'll just be wings for us from now on.

the atmosphere, drinks and staff were nice, however the attempt at "chilli" fries was very disappointing, as was how "mini" thesliderswere (though i did enjoy the taste)

tippler's tap. i just wish i had two stomachs. need more room for the wings, theslidersand the onion rings! coupled with boutique beers - what's not to like?

beer and wings with m8s can't be beat. $10 for a kilo of wings is a perfect accompaniment for the large selection of beers. the staff are passionate about their brews and the mushroom and haloumi, beetrootslidersare the perfect combo of flavours. although the wings are generally dry and average i have zero complaints for that budget price, the friendly staff, great atmosphere and the speedy service. nice sitting on the cushions out the front when the sun is out in teneriffe or sitting in the cosy cabin portion of the bar with the tacky/wonderful mountain mural when it's cold.

there were few different versions of thesliderswhich included pulled pork, beef and the vegetarian version which has haloumi. i had to stop myself from taking more sliders... they were quite moreish!

the food at this place was very salty. the spicy chicken wings had a powdery texture and was also very salty. the only good food was the rueben sandwich and thesliders(needs more beef patty in the beef sliders).

humble man’s dream. i have been known to enjoy the odd americana style meal every now and then / every other day, so when the little lady and i were recommended to give this place a go i didn't take all that much convincing. if you didn't know the address or weren't looking for it, chances are you would drive straight past, as it is that sheltered and unassuming from the street. i think this only added to the charm of the venue. clearly designed to complement what is an expansive craft beer selection, the food menu does offer quite a varied and interesting range to cater for many tastes. after a relatively short deliberation it seemed we were on the same page and so ordered the following: slider burger mixed combo (5 sliders), corn on cob, chilli fries. as a simple man who enjoys simple yet delicious things, the meal ticked all the boxes and then some. from the cheeky spice of the fries to the mouth-watering deliciousness of the range ofslidersi had the pleasure of devouring, it was simply put, a humble man’s dream. the only awkwardness we encountered throughout the whole meal was when i realized that i had indeed peaked too early as i had already put away my allocated two and a halfsliderswhilst she decided the best strategy was to save the best one till last (half a pulled pork & coleslaw slider). after what felt like an eternity, i managed to stare at the homeless little pulled pork slider long enough for her to feel uncomfortable......may have also helped that i left it on my plate. and so, i managed to increase my quota ofslidersto three...... and as such declared the meal a victory. highly recommended!

i’m at a bit of a loss for words. what to say about your new favourite bar in brisbane? what to say about the place that you immediately race over to, when you read what new taps they have? how can you really describe the happiness you feel when you bite into a pork belly slider, honey sauce dribbling all down your chin? i haven’t reviewed tippler’s tap on here yet, and i’m really disgusted at myself. so this is an apology to all my readers. if for some reason you haven’t yet discovered tippler’s, and it’s due to me not talking about it yet – i’m really sorry. enough chit chat. the basics: amazing beer list. about a dozen rotating taps, a crapload of bottles. often feature such rarieties as the recent dogfish head-birra del borgo collaboration ‘my antonia’, as well as favourites like sierra nevada, rogue , dieu du ciel , feral , kooinda, epic, green flash, holgate , etc.  delicious food. theslidersare ridiculous – the pork belly is my fave (below), closely followed my the haloumi. th

omg!!!! comfort food to the max. hubby and i had the pork bellysliderswhich were heaven, perfectly balanced between sweet and salty. the ribs special was amazing, meat just fell off the bone. came for the beer and stayed for the food. new regulars

plenty of beer!. have been wanting to try this place for a while, mainly to check out the extensive range if beers. decided to nip in to try some beer and a bite to eat as after checking out the menu it looked just the kind of thing we were after.
it was really busy with no spare tables when we arrived, ordered a couple of beers and a tablewas free about ten minutes later. decided on someslidersto share...
mmm! all three flavours were really tasty and could decide which was the best!
good food, good value too and great choice of beers.
