thefoodand beer were good, but the service was terrible. she was rude, conceited, slow and not helpful at all. 3 of our group of 4 all had that experience with her. a shame and all of it unnecessary.

great little place with good reasonably pricedfoodand a diverse turnover of different beers on tap.

the only downside is it's so packed tables are limited. it's well worth the wait though!!!

good job tipplers tap!

great chicken wings. different seating areas for all needs. order at the counterfooddelivered. lots of beers on tap. clean area no music but traffic is entertaining.

cool place to go with a group and for the beer, but thefoodis just ok. if you're going for thefoodalone, i probably wouldn't bother. pork slider is super sweet, haloumi burger is sooo salty, and the chilli fries are not fries and no chilli. it's not bad, but there's better places if you enjoy good food.

eaten here a couple of times, drunk here more than a couple :p it's a nice little place where the staff are generally friendly, and the beer selection decent. unfortunately there's not too much in the way of ciders, but alas, we can't have everything, i haven't tried thefoodin a while so it might be unfair to leave afoodreview as things might have changed, thefoodwas just "ok" the last time i decided to eat there, a bit overpriced for what it was (sliders, wings and crumbed mushrooms) which tasted fine after a few drinks but nothing to write home about,  but to be fair i'll have to go back and see what they've got in the way offoodnow, as the last few times i've just been drinking.

do not go here it is a very average pub. the chef doesn’t care. thefoodis below par. the staff are not hospitable

saw good reviews and decided to give them a try. amazing customer service and greatfood- big portions too! thefoodtook a while to come out but to be fair we did come during peak hour. highly recommend!

great range of craft beers and a lesser variety of wine (which is fair enough being a beer focussed bar). drink prices are on the expensive side (think $11+ for a pint).  they used to have a great selection of hot sauces to go with your mostly american influenced menu, although now there is only tabasco (boring). foodis usually fairly good but is variable. today was a basic cheeseburger with a stale bun and a half sized patty for $12. wasn't too impressed.  wings can be very good if not overcooked, but seems the case that they are too dry half the time.

the lady was extremely nice.foodwas great and drinks were excellent. overall a great place for a night out and could not recommend more. will definitely be back

amazing vibe to the place that is located on the main street of southbank. had heard a lot about the craft beers. and gave it a try on a weekday.
the place was quite happening for a thursday night, music was not loud and just the way i like it.
i ordered the stout offered on tap and the apple cider along with the onion rings. would love to try out more from theirfoodmenu the next time i visit.
great place for beer and finger food.

the rating has come down to service - which was appalling. would not go back.

even though thefoodwas okay - not great or anything worth putting up with shocking service.

we were standing at the bar waiting to be served, looking right at the male and female waitress and they continued to talk amongst themselves. no acknowledgment until we said ‘hello?’
the lady seemed arrogant too.

as above,foodwas okay. not manyfoodchoices on the menu.

stopped by here for a drink and was pretty impressed with my experience. if you like you brews this place has a large range of unique beers. the lady serving was able to suggest some of the popular drinks amd i was happy with these suggestions. i had to have something to eat with my beers so i got some deep fried pickes which went perfectly with my drink. look forward to coming back and trying more beers and otherfoodon the menu.

sunday lunch or lack thereof.. we were greeted by expressionless stares from staff, there wasn't even a hint of a smile insight. feeling as if we were inconveniencing the staff by forcing them to do something other than blankly stare into the distance from their spot behind the bar. waited up to an hour forfoodthat never arrived whilst everyone around us had almost finished their meals.
although we were the first to place an order. as we left we could hear other diners complaining to servers. it's unfortunate because employees can make or break a business.
