the food andbeerwere good, but the service was terrible. she was rude, conceited, slow and not helpful at all. 3 of our group of 4 all had that experience with her. a shame and all of it unnecessary.

eaten here a couple of times, drunk here more than a couple :p it's a nice little place where the staff are generally friendly, and thebeerselection decent. unfortunately there's not too much in the way of ciders, but alas, we can't have everything, i haven't tried the food in a while so it might be unfair to leave a food review as things might have changed, the food was just "ok" the last time i decided to eat there, a bit overpriced for what it was (sliders, wings and crumbed mushrooms) which tasted fine after a few drinks but nothing to write home about,  but to be fair i'll have to go back and see what they've got in the way of food now, as the last few times i've just been drinking.

excellent service. we walked in and straight away the staff member greeted us and started talking to us about hisbeerselections on tap. we gave us samples to try before we actually bought. he had excellent knowledge of his beers. loved the vibe. cute bar on the main street to many restaurants. will definitely be back to try the other beers on tap.

i lovebeerand i love tipplers. this place always has a good variety of craft beers and keeps up to date with the latest craft beers and makes sure they are on tap for everyone to drink.

good vibe, staff are always friendly. if you want to try a craftbeeror 10 this is the spot!

great range of craft beers and a lesser variety of wine (which is fair enough being abeerfocussed bar). drink prices are on the expensive side (think $11+ for a pint).  they used to have a great selection of hot sauces to go with your mostly american influenced menu, although now there is only tabasco (boring).  food is usually fairly good but is variable. today was a basic cheeseburger with a stale bun and a half sized patty for $12. wasn't too impressed.  wings can be very good if not overcooked, but seems the case that they are too dry half the time.

amazing vibe to the place that is located on the main street of southbank. had heard a lot about the craft beers. and gave it a try on a weekday.
the place was quite happening for a thursday night, music was not loud and just the way i like it.
i ordered the stout offered on tap and the apple cider along with the onion rings. would love to try out more from their food menu the next time i visit.
great place forbeerand finger food.

dropped in for a few events recently including the mead one. service is friendly and thebeerchoice is always great. i still miss some of the old items from tomahawks menu though.

tippler's used to be better a long time ago when they were still in teneriffe. it probably comes down to taste preferences. i remembered the first 2 times i went back in around 2012, the chicken was actually spicy.

the good thing about tippler's today is the consistency and the craftbeeravailable to pair with the food. the service is always top notch and the value of the food is still great (we weren't going to get 1kg wings for 10 dollars forever!)

the chicago style food is incredible. took my husband and i back to the state for the night. thebeerand cider menu is awesome. definitely worth a try!

even though it's moved i'm glad it's still the same. i thought this place was related to tomahawk so unsure why they changed names. regardless, both are great. superbbeerand bar food. that vego chilli is amaze

efficient service. good was fine. our table of 5 had the mini sliders, fries and chicago dog. wasn't fussed on the hot dog. best slider was the cheeseburger. fries were divine and also the wings (which we didn't have but could smell and see at the next table). good place to go for abeerand snacks.

my my. nothing like earnest bearded chaps tenderly meeting yourbeerneeds to make you feel like ordering a range of bar good.

suggest deferring dinner plans and just overordering from the bar menu. pulled pork slider? in my mouth thanks. fried mushrooms? you're in trouble my crispy little friends.

i love this place, brilliantbeerselection, there are always several i want to try and the food is awesome. i am especially fond of the onion rings,you could crack a tooth the batter is so crispy, just how i like it. love that they have moved closer to my work :-)

not much of abeerdrinker, but the food is fantastic. used to come by all the time when i worked nearby.

big fan of the chilli fries and wings myself, and the venue is great too!
