eaten here a couple of times, drunk here more than a couple :p it's a nice little place where the staff are generally friendly, and the beer selection decent. unfortunately there's not too much in the way of ciders, but alas, we can't have everything, i haven't tried the food in a while so it might be unfair to leave a food review as things might have changed, the food was just "ok" the last time i decided to eat there, a bit overpriced for what it was (sliders, wings and crumbed mushrooms) which tasted fine after a few drinks but nothing to write home about,  but to be fair i'll have to gobackand see what they've got in the way of food now, as the last few times i've just been drinking.

food 3.5
service 3.5
ambience 3.5

stumbled across this place, they have cosy cabins on the outside to sit. the craft beers are great and with the good food, they complement each other well. the sliders were good, however on this occasion the bun was a tad bit dried out. the hot dog was done well.

overall would comebackto this place again and try other menu items as well.

one of the best bar in south bank. located at the opposite of the cinema, tippler's tap has a unique outside seating area that is shaped like a house.

they offer various beers on taps, as well as gin & tonic. ordered the tasting plate for drinks, which consisted of 5 beers of your choice. the pricing was rather cheap, especially during sunday happy hours. for the food, ordered the deep fried crumbed calamari, mushroom, and chicken wing. all of these tasted really great, not too salty, not too greasy, and paired up with amazing sauces.

would definitely comebackhere when i'm around the area.

excellent service. we walked in and straight away the staff member greeted us and started talking to us about his beer selections on tap. we gave us samples to try before we actually bought. he had excellent knowledge of his beers. loved the vibe. cute bar on the main street to many restaurants. will definitely bebackto try the other beers on tap.

stopped by here for a drink and was pretty impressed with my experience. if you like you brews this place has a large range of unique beers. the lady serving was able to suggest some of the popular drinks amd i was happy with these suggestions. i had to have something to eat with my beers so i got some deep fried pickes which went perfectly with my drink. look forward to comingbackand trying more beers and other food on the menu.

nice place. staff were nice. they were busy the night i went and the service was reasonably fast. i had the halloumi slider and it was great! it was so so flavoursome and the halloumi was cooked beautifully. would gobackjust to have that slider again!

tippler's used to be better a long time ago when they were still in teneriffe. it probably comes down to taste preferences. i remembered the first 2 times i wentbackin around 2012, the chicken was actually spicy.

the good thing about tippler's today is the consistency and the craft beer available to pair with the food. the service is always top notch and the value of the food is still great (we weren't going to get 1kg wings for 10 dollars forever!)

*****
take note that this is of course all based on my unqualified opinion!

my considerations: 1. food 2. value 3. service 4. atmosphere

this is where to go for nice american food at a reasonable price. i quite enjoyed my food and the whole experience. it's probably a good idea to go before 1900 - that's when customers rush in. i was lucky enough to secure a spot at around 1800. would bebackagain.

$10 for a basket of chicken wings (1kg) and comes with the blue cheese sauce. perfect for a friday night with beers or maybe lots of beers. been comingbackfor the wings and chilli fries so this time we have tried one more dish which is the pulled pork roll, glad we have ordered it, love it to the max.

have been here a few times. last time had the new menu. the new menu is the old menu with price hikes and a few added extras. now $12 for wings, $7 or $8 for corn (not as nice either, comes with less toppings) and sliders have no 3 for $15 i think it was. they are all to be paid separately.

new addition we tried was the beef sandwich massive, but for $16 you'd hope it would be! comes with no sides, just a lot of beef in a long roll.

tried the fries - very salty.

when we gobackit'll just be wings for us from now on.

mouth watering food!!. my husband and i ate there on saturday night. we love american food and this place delivered. the brisket was awesome as were the chili cheese fries. i would say the brisket was better then what we had in the states. am definitely going to try the chicken wings next time. the food came out pretty quick and the waiter was really helpful and asked if we enjoyed our meal. the lady behind the bar let me sample a couple of beers before making my decision which was great as i was only going to have one. the drinks were a little pricey but weigh that up with how cheap the food was you still come out on top. it was a really nice casual environment and a place i will be goingbackto again.

whilst the chicken wings were quite average in flavour, you really can't complain when it's ten bucks for a kilo of them! beer selection great, but would like to see more ciders (particularly sweeter ones like rekordelig or somersby). otherwise good service and ambience - we'll bebackfor another sunday sesh :)

first visit and waited for a table for 7 people. that took about 20 minutes on a busy friday night which is fine. only 6 of us arrived at the time and they sat us down on our table which is great. our last friend who arrived 10 minutes late was not allowed into the door despite we had a table inside and was made to line up at the verybackof the line because the waitress at the door said they are at full capacity inside. but we already have a table for 7 inside.... really? our group immediately packed our stuff and left :(

beer and food lovers rejoice. craft beer and food are two of my great loves and tippler's delivers both in all their glory. i have now been a number of times and myself and a few friends find ourselves drawnbackagain and again even as we are on our way to another place to eat we will change our minds and go to tipplers.

having worked my way through the menu i can honestly say the only disappointment i have found on the menu are the buffalo wings but i do think this is just probably down to personal preference as plenty of others like them. the beer is fantastic with about 12 craft beers on tap at any one time and with them also changing regularly enough, there is always a new one to try. can't recommend this place enough - we need more like it in brisbane...

try the italian beef sandwich or the sliders. to. die. for.
