tie dye grill

amazing burgers. went about 7 at night, and had the nicest waitress, she was very accomadating. we ordered the chilli cheese fries which came out nice and hot, and we're very good. then we both had a burger, one of the bestburgersi've had, definitely recommend stopping here. great food great portions great price great service

amazing, every time i go, i get something new, and i never am let down. they have everything you could ask for, anything fromburgersand fries, to twice baked potatoes. will be back again soon!

came here for lunch yesterday and i was very impressed. the food was excellent. the wait staff was excellent. i have been wanting to get here for a tenderloin tuesday, and the tenderloin was very good. i look forward to coming back and trying theburgersand other things.

flat out, some of the bestburgersin town. you are not going to a fine dining establishment. you're going to a burger joint. they have some good salads, very nice specials that change every night, and dinner plans. but theirburgersare great. they have a tuesday night tenderloin sandwich that you can get fried or grilled. i got a grilled, and it is wonderful. the hamburger is outstanding quality, done over an open grill, and really is great. you can get pretty much any topping you would ever won on a burger there. the hamburgers are 10 ounces, cooked to order, and flat out fantastic. i highly suggest this place for a burger joint.

theburgersare giant... so big you could almost split with someone.  all sides are a la carte which is weird.  you almost need to go with 2 people so you can each get your burger and share a side. 

we will go back for theburgers  the sides are just food service fried food so they are forgetable and not worth the money... yo won't miss them.

i never write reviews.... ...but i am making an exception for tie dye grill. this place serves as good a burger as you will find in indy, as good or better than bub's in my opinion. it's a little cramped. and doesn't look like much from the outside, but theburgerswill have you coming back. i had the zz top burger, which has onion crisps, pepper jack, jalapeños, and chipotle ranch dressing. amazing. the burger is a 10 oz pattie, juicy with a charcoal flavor. honestly next time i go, i will probably split it with my wife, that's how big it is. i live 10 minutes away and can't believe i have never been here before, but will be back soon.

great hamburgers!!. we loved eating here! theburgerswere awesome. be prepared they are a little pricey but remember they are handmade patties from local butchers, not the frozen stuff. staff is fun and a little crazy at times. we went there on the 4th of july and they were frying everything!!!!! (whole sandwiches, oreos, moon pies, cherries, ice cream sandwiches, etc) what a fun atmosphere!!!!

best tenderloin ever. tie dye is another favorite, been there dozens of times. everything i've ever tried there has been excellent tasting and made with excellent quality ingredients. theburgersare thick and juicy, cooked to order. the onion rings are crispy and delicious. i most frequently go there on tuesdays because of tenderloin tuesday, the one day of the week they serve this, the best of all tenderloins. breaded or grilled, on a bun or a plate, this is the top tenderloin in town, maybe the whole state of indiana.go there today, especially if it's tuesday.

thanks urbanspoon!. i would have never found this gem if it was not for urbanspoon. took a co-worker here for lunch the other day & we will be back. bigburgersthat were first rate. friendly staff & obviously a popular place with the local law enforcement (they always know where to eat!).

my first tie dye lunch. yesterday i had the best french dip i have ever eaten. usually-no always- the au jus is so salty i don't even bother dipping into it, but the tie dye grill had the best ever! the bun was lightly sweet and perfectly toasted and the meat was tender and falvorful and there was was a lot of it. and the brownie was huge, topped with marshmallows and had a layer of something crunchy just under the top. i cannot put my finger on exactly what it was [rice crispies perhaps?] bit it was absolutely the greatesat chocolate experience i have ever enjoyed in indianapolis. i cannot wait to return.

always a wonderful experience!
place is always packed at lunch, but waiting is short for a table or take out orders.

food is awsome grilledburgersand has that one of a kind taste always brings you back for more. try a big brownie for dessert you'll need lots of milk.
come and experience it for yourself!

saw a review in indianapolis monthly which got me here. was not disappointed however the service was a little lacking but the food more than made up for it. amazingburgersand large portions will fill you up without draining your wallet.
