nothing like it's sister restaurant on edgewood. it still has that small home town diner feel and the greatfoodwe all love. service is not as personal.

the service here is amazing! the sweet tea is a little different but very tasty. the salmon and cream cheese with eggs is just to die for. i love eating the south west combination is just absolutely delicious. the warm tortilla is the perfect vessel for the black beans, eggs, and pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, and sour cream. my mouth drools before i even get in the door. the prices are not cheap, but they are very affordable. i have also tried the waffles here, they are thick, but fluffy. i love the addition of the powdered sugar, you barely need any syrup with these waffles. i would suggest the chicken and waffles. thumbs up definitely makes a great savory play on the traditional southern fare. if you are looking for a wonderful treat i would suggest the salmon and cream cheese eggs. it is delicate, smooth, and just down right delicious. thefoodhere is served with lots of love and a lot of butter. everything that i have eaten from here is surprisingly awesome!

bad service. this establishment closes when they get ready to close. they are not committed to the hours posted. if you come when they decide that they are ready to close, then you get treat like s***t! thefoodis decent, only thing is it made me sooooooooo sick after being treat like s***t because they decided to close earlier than they usually close.

the only reason why i decided to come around 3pm (an hour before closing) is because it be so crowded and the wait is ridiculous! that is still no reason to be treat the way they treated me. i will never go back to this establishment ever again. there were other patrons arriving at the location after i arrived and they got turned around and treated like s***t as well. these people, as well as myself, called in before hand to ask what time they are scheduled to close and they clearly stated 4:00 pm. instead they closed at 3:20.

take a moment to go off the beaten track for this gem. while the waiting line was long the staff moved us through quickly. thefoodwas amazing and well worth the wait. try the portland scramble or the eggs with cream cheese.
