not as good as expected, but good. had a decent meal here, ate a pork terrine that was outstanding, had a lackluster roasted chicken.... cool space, decent waitstaff... i'd give them another shot, but they did not live up to the hype i've been hearing

wonderful!. i'm not a blue cheese fan, but the stilton mixed with the mushroom cognac sauce on my hubby's burger was amazing! i'll take a side of mushroom cognac sauce and a straw please! ;) i ordered the fish and chips, which turned out to be a rather sophisticated choice instead of the usual greasy, over-breaded generic pub version. kudos! my fave was the brady collins from the drink menu, but the bengali gimlet was pretty unique and tasty too. keep up the good work mcnellie's group!

change of heart.. i was very disappointed on my first visit, but visit number 2 had me at "bone-in pork chops" - delicious and flavorful. i very much enjoyed also, whatever deviled egg had the bacon on it... didn't care for the others, but they were a nice change in pace of the typical appetizer. even if you don't enjoy the food, the staff is amazing along with the service they always give.

amazing cheese and unique cocktails. we had dinner here last night with another couple. it was our second time dining here. the first time, we came for a birthday party back in february..it was good then but there were so many of us that it was hard to really enjoy. last night, we were able to take our time, sample the drink menu and not be rushed. our server amanda was patient and informative, we were never rushed and were never waiting for anything. us ladies ordered a variety of cocktails off the menu and enjoyed them all. 'the last word' with chartreuse was amazing. our spouses had the bacon infused manhattan's and the deviled eggs, all outstanding. my friend and i love cheese so we were in for a treat. they bring in their cheeses from california. i have to say, a dinner of cheese for me would be my last supper.. she and i shared the cheese and cured meat plate. honestly, one of the best meals i have ever had. i cannot remember the names of all of the cheeses but they included potato cheddar with bacon bits, lemon curd blue blue cheese and some sort of lavender jam and goat? amazing. my husband had the fish and chips, which was delicious as well as his side of mac and cheese. i have been coming to this spot since it was the bowery 10 years ago. brady tavern has done a good job utilizing the space with local art and great food! the menu could have used a few more entree choices..(a filet) but really we have no complaints. we had a great experience here and cannot wait to go back...or figure where they order their cheese...heaven!

second time in. second time getting the burger. didn't like it the first time, wanted to like it the second time because ive heard good things. it was terribly over cooked. i like a good crust on a grilled burger, but this was so charred it was unpleasant. the bun was so dense that i could barely chew it. the fries were just okay. nothing special. i don't mind paying 13 or even 20 bucks for a great burger, but i honestly wouldn't eat this again if it was free. the service was just okay. the bartender was polite, but not very prompt. i never received bread, my drink was often empty and i had to ask for silverware after my meal had been dropped off. i had the fried apple pie for dessert. it was tasty. the best part of the evening really. not enough to make me head back though. too bad, i really wanted to like it.

not impressed with food. today at lunch was my first visit to brady tavern. i was one of a large group from my company and ordered the chicken panini with fries. except for our group, the restaurant did not seem very busy and we were there between 11:30-1:00. after a somewhat long wait, we received our appetizers, which i must say i did not try primarily because none of them looked appealing to me. the wait for our lunch was somewhat long and when i received my dish, i first tasted the fries, which were good, but cold. there were also numerous bacon bits mixed in with the fries, which i did not find the least bit appealing. i then noticed that the swiss cheese on top of the chicken had completely congealed and of course, the chicken was also cold - and dry. my best guess is that my dish was one of the first to be prepared and was then set aside until more dishes were ready to be brought out. the waitor took my dish to be reheated, which also seemed to take a long time. the panini bread was overly burned. i assume it had been placed on a grill and i spent a good portion of my time picking out all the bacon bits and burnt spots on the bread. i didn't even attempt to eat the second piece of bread. the chicken mixture had a combination of several odd herbs and spices which didn't do much for the dish. upon returning to the office, i overheard a few other similar comments in that they were not very impressed with the food, which is also somewhat expensive. this was my first visit - and more than likely my last.

just wonderful!. we wandered into the brady tavern with the intention of having a drink or two and then going off to have dinner elsewhere. as we arrived at the bar, the bartender asked if we cared to see the dinner menu. as we enjoyed our drinks, we were increasingly tempted by the offerings, but my so must avoid gluten, so some questions were in order. the staff attended to our questions and pointed out the gluten-free items (they do not, as of yet, have a gluten-free menu). my so ordered the pork chop with mustard sauce accompanied by a vegetable hash (chopped brussels sprouts, spinach, potatoes and carrots). i ordered the fresh goat cheese ravioli. for dessert we split the blood orange flan (the only gluten-free dessert offering). the bottom line? everything was absolutely wonderful! they also have an extensive wine and beer list and a very friendly and helpful staff. very highly recommended!!!.

brunch @ brady. i had brunch at the brady tavern today, and it was great! we started with bellinis and the basket of breakfast breads. the bellinis were good, but they had fruit seeds floating in them - i would've preferred them to be strained out, but they tasted great. the breads included banana bread, an orange/cran scone, blueberry muffin, cinnamon roll and another cheese pastry that was delicious. everything was great, except for the cinnamon roll, which was a little bit dry. my main course was eggs benedict, which they make with spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes, and it rocked! i would highly recommend it! i had the hash browns as my side, and i thought they were very tasty as well! it's 5pm and i'm still in a food coma from this great brunch. i would highly recommend eating there!

unique menu. our first time to eat here this weekend. we had good service considering how popular and busy it was. we tried the mac n cheese as a side dish which was to die for. the burger was lean and tasty. we look forward to coming back and highly recommend this great restaurant.

i really wanted to like it, but alas no.... i had a less than mediocre experience the first time i dined here, but that was in jan right after their opening, so decided to give it another try. unfortunately still not dialed in. had a bean soup to start, the beans weren't properly cooked and crunchy. yuck! i had one spoonful. it was bland, but would have been edible if tge beans were cooked. my entree was also bland, the grilled cheese sandwich must have been mostly mozzarella because it was pretty flavorless. :( i expected more for the price points. i felt like i ate a mcnellie's style meal at a much higher price point, not worth it.

my husband and i ate at brady tavern for the first time last night. the atmosphere is amazing, and different than any other found in tulsa. i thought it would feel more like an english pub, but it made me think more of a restaurant in france or perhaps early 1900s east coast us. the service was great. they serve bread before the meal, which was very tasty. the only thing i didn't like about the place was my entree. i ordered the special butternut squash fettuccine. it like complexity of flavor and had the consistency of leftover pasta from the fridge. the way food tastes is very important to me, but i was willing to overlook this fact given all the other good things about the place. i also like the fact that they don't use ice in their water, maybe that's one of the things that adds to the european feel? next time i'll definitely try the risotto cakes instead of pasta.

mr.. very disapponted. hostess did not know how to read reservation, was told we had no reservation initially. waiter cleared table without permission taking our appetizer before we had finished. ordered the namesake hamburger. save your money. the fries they serve with the meal remind me of the cannned shoestring potatoes. i really appreciated how cold they were when served. i promise not to go back there, i would hate to think i was keeping anyone from a table.
