unexpected flavors!. a friend came up to visit me from salt lake who had never been to ogden, and we decided to check thisplaceout since reading the salt lake magazine review. the restaurant was huge, and the menu offerings were impressive. we each had great drinks (a margarita and the aguas frescas with vodka) which were a perfect match for their large patio. we started with a trio of the ceviche - rock shrimp, mahi mahi, and ahi tuna. the mahi was decidedly our favorite. it was a tuesday, so since tacos were only $1.50 each, we got six of them and shared. it was plenty of food, and i'll definitely be back!

i may have just been unlucky and walked into thisplaceon a very off day. the service was friendly and attentive. some of the food was exactly what i hoped for other parts were inedible. i ordered a combo plate and the pork was amazing. the chili relleno however had me throwing up later that night. i only ate a few bites of it before giving up and it was the only meal i had eaten away from home the entire day. if the service had not been so friendly i would likely have given a lower score.

my favorite mexican food restaurant. i first went to sonora last valentine's day, and i fell in love with theplaceimmediately. very cool decor and professional/efficient staff. they have a terrific menu with lots of items you don't see too often at other mexican food places. they have a nice alcohol menu that is not too expensive, and i love their chips and salsa appetizer. i was proud to take my family here when they visited me, and they ordered a wide variety of entrees which they still have not stopped talking about. their service is always terrific as is the food. order one of their specials and you will not be disappointed!

guacamole please. order the table side guacamole and then the shrimp chile relleno. the relleno is a raging party of awesomeness. i love it and i crave for it nightly. it is the best relleno in utah hands down. greatplacefor a date night with the wife.

simply fantastic. i had super-high expectations of thisplaceand it delivered. everything we tried was perfect. the salsas were both unique and very flavorful and the guacomole was fresh and fabulous. each dish that we tried - chile verde, chile rellenos, and stacked enchiladas - was fantastically spiced, prepared, and presented. the spicyness and tenderness of the verde was spot on, the crispness and the cheese of the rellenos was incredible, and although i didn't try the enchiladas, they looked great too. i doubt you can go wrong with anything on the menu. i'm already looking forward to going back - it's just a shame thisplaceisn't in salt lake.

best mexican food in ogden, hands down. sure, thisplaceis on the expensive side and as pretentious as it gets. some of the servers are downright snobs even. but, the food is some of the best mexican around. it's not the boring cheese, cheese and more cheese dishes you get everywhere else in utah. this is cooking with flavor. unique flavors you just won't find elsewhere in utah. all of those housemade salsas make my mouth water just thinking about them. and their chile relleno is easily the best i've ever had. two massive chiles covered and stuffed with the most delicious mexican white cheese. everything they serve here is fresh and delicious. now if only their table manner matched. at least the manager was very kind. i'm not sure why he hires such arrogant help.

pretencious and good. it's probably the onlyplacein ogden where you can find fresh mexican food made with quality chicken. however, it is inexcusably expensive.

this restaurant is awesome! i loved the making of the guacamole tableside. the chile verde was so savory with the pork being tender. for dessert, the flan was exquisite and the cheesecake chalupas were the best. i would recommend thisplaceto everyone!!!!
