good burger & beer joint. if you're out looking for a good burger & beer, therailis worth a visit.

one of our favorite salads is a grilled caesar that we get in key west. so imagine our surprise when we walked into therailand it was on the menu. added a naked burger from local beef and it was wonderful. the caesar dressing was more oil based which was what we wanted. added a couple of stout and porter beers and the world is good. bar environment works for lunch or late night after a late day. friendly attentive staff.

wonderful place to chill and grab a great casual meal!. therailoffers a comfortable but interesting atmosphere coupled with great food and guest service! carries a nice selection of craft and micro brew beers along with delicious hamburgers and other easygoing but absolutely tasty fare!

therailis located at the summit mall – but don’t let that deter you, since it’s not truly inside the mall, but instead part of a row of restaurants on the the mall’s south edge. which is good because last i checked you can’t serve alcohol as part of the food court, can you? if that’s changed then i may need to make more visits to the mall.

last night, my husband and i went to therailin north olmstead. it was quite busy, we arrived around 730. the wait was around and hour, so we sat at the bar and waited for a table. once we got sat, we were greeted right away. we got a table upstairs. our server cara was extremely friendly, attentive and super fun. they had $3 long islands all night. i decided to get one, however it did not taste like a long island. cara apologized and quickly got me another drink.

now time for the burgers.. their burger of the month is a bruschetta burger, which was incredible. the burger was cooked perfectly, and not to mention their beef is local and grass fed! it's a pretty big burger too, so come with an appetite.

i give this place 4 stars. i am definitely coming back and i will recommend this place to others. it's very nice having a great burger place so close to home!

i accidentally ordered a drink i didn't like here and the waitress noticed and asked the manager to take it off my bill with ought me even asking for it. they really take great care of their customers! definitely coming back!

most flavorful burgers in all of akron! beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff. therailis a must try!!!

truffle fries!. tried therailthis evening after a coworker mentioned it in passing. great burgers! the truffle fries are truly amazing. they're worth the splurge! the staff was friendly and attentive. we also saw a table get cleaned very quickly so that people who were waiting could sit down as soon as possible. the manager also came around to ask how everything was which i appreciated because managers often skip us for some reason. i also loved the fact that they have comment cards. i think it shows they truly value what their customers think. we will be back!

we were on our way to first watch right next door but the wait was too long so we went to therailand loved it. the burgers are not frozen and the waitress states they try to keep everything local. the burgers are their signature so we complied and were amazed by the taste. the mr mariola had great flavor topped with pesto and fresh mozzarella. the cost was $10 and with the sides ala carte, but i was still pleased with the value. the milkshakes at $6 are a bit pricey but the best i have had in a long time. the menu is simple, the ambience is clean and modern, the staff were pleasant, and the draft beer selection is well versed. a real nice experience.

burgers. we loved the hamburgers (therailburger) they were very delicious and we will be happy to visit again soon! the waiter was super helpful and very nice, the sloppy joe needed some work though my son got that and it was a little shabby. over all we had a great experience :)

we have been to therailseveral times and it gets better each time. the menu varies by month. the specials are great, fried pickles, volcano fries, etc. the burgers are the best and are cooked to order, not just a slab of grey meat. diffrent local micro brews are featured each month. the chicken sandwich is superbly grilled and flavorful also. the service is terrific. we love this place and will be returning regularly.

awesome food awesome service. my husband and i went into therailfor lunch today. the food was phenomenal as usual. i got the greenwich pig with truffle fries. delicious. the best burger in town. i'm an advid beer drinker and wasn't too sure what i would like since everything is pretty much local, but the bartender diana had great suggestions for me. it was really nice being able to go into a place where you can meet and talk to such a nice young lady about beer. she really knew her stuff! if you go into the rail, sit at the bar and talk to her! you will not be disappointed! she will teach you a thing or two! now, all they need to do is get vanilla porter and then we will never leave!

pat on the back!. i have been to therailtwo times and loved it each time i visited. the first time i was there it was one of their coveted beer samplings - which was awesome! these shindigs take place monthly at their community table and everyone gathers around the "beer guy/gal" and learns about the beer they are tasting. while they are presenting, you also get yummyrailbar snacks. for our tasting we got mac & cheese bites, loaded chips, and the most amazing fried pickled green beans!

having such a great experience the 1st time i was there, i wanted to try it out again this weekend as a "regular patron." this time i shared the greenwich pig and swapped the burger out for a veggie burger. oh wow! it was amazing!! we ordered chips to go along with it, and tried out the provolone sticks for an appetizer. it was all great!

the staff is great, too. both times we have been there we have been taken care of very well. we sat at the bar and the super-friendly bartender even gave us a sample of one of their awesome milkshakes! i'm guessing there was a little left in the cup, and our lucky day!

i highly recommend therailto anyone who is looking for a hip place to grab a burger with some friends! and i give this "burger joint" a huge pat on the back for also having veggie options that actually taste great!

great time. my wife and i recently visited therailfor our anniversary dinner. the service was prompt and very warm, the appetizer was delicious, and the burgers are stellar. i got the local yokel, which is the big seller i'm told, and it was cooked to perfection. loved that everything is locally sourced. it was a great atmosphere and great food to boot.

therailis the new burger place at summit mall. i really like the decor they chose. there is a cow with meat cut lines and the names of counties in ohio instead of cuts of meat. they advertise that all their meat is local and they have a good variety of local beers. the beer list is short but packs a big punch. the bar is pretty big and there is lots of bar type seating. there are also some booths in the back which is where we sat. they were not busy when we were there and our server was great. we actually had a complaint about the fried jalapenos on our fries and he took it right back to the kitchen and they made us fresh ones. he even recommended beers even though tbg didn't take his recommendations. there is a decent happy hour and seasonal specials. we started the meal with the bon fire fries which are nice thin crispy fries with creamy melted pepper jack cheese and sriracha and fried jalapenos on top. it was very good and plenty big enough for 2 people. i liked the fries so much
