really adorable, slightly hipster decor. friendly and accommodating waitstaff. the menu features an eclectic mix of items, including classic asian dishes like bibimbab, chickenand waffles, and quintessential brunch items, featuring things on toast. my friend had the bibimbab, while i had the avocado on toast. the presentation of the avocado on toast was nicer than your average sydney cafe, with the avocado sliced thinly and expertly on top of the bread. between the avocado and the bread, there was miso, which added a lovely, unexpected flavour to the combination. all in all, delicious. there were also green shoots on the avocado, which i'd put aside. after i finished eating, the waiter said if i didn't like them, i could tell them next time and they'd change it for something else- this hospitality made a nice dining experience all the more appreciable.
we finished with the matcha cheesecake, which was rich, with a strong matcha flavour.
