the pyramidrestaurantis what i was itching about to visit, when i first saw it's preview, i kept on following posts and keep myself posted about their opening. then finally, i saw some blogs and instagram posts of this awesome-like place. my man and i went there yesterday, we stayed there from 5- 7pm and it was spectacular dining area. good for dating moments, cozy place to stay, if you are so stress from work, just grab some of their sweets that would definitely gave you a good taste. we ordered romana (ramona) pizza which is their new menu because they were at the soft opening circumstance so they would offer new menu so we tried it paired with chocolate mousse and panna cotta. my goodness! those were so delectable and the mixes of sweets and spicyness from the pizza just linger on. i so loved it though with creamy frappe latte drinks which is also a new variety. actually the whole place satisfy my mood and i feel like i am in another country. aweee!  after dining, we took all the time tour the whole place and it was so lovely and if you want to have a barkada night out, the pyramid is a good place to be. last night, there were bunch of kiddos who celebrated bday there and they were really had a great time. so cute.  to foodhoppies, please try to visit the pyramid and you'll love it just be reminded that it's still a soft opening. there might be some situations that you might feel unsatisfied or whatsoever but make sure when you go there, you are hungry and i tell you, you're going to love their foods. enjoy!

i used to work near the place although tempted to try this place soon after completion.. but never had a chance.. anyways, the architecture is interesting in fact this is the first ground-breaking architectural statementrestaurantin cebu.. the unique design is so gorgeous and i love the purple led lights that is quite an eye catching... the location is perfect too!...

they offer a wide range of wines but not food... we went there for dinner, it was my mother's day treat for my sister, mother and for myself.. we went along with the rest of the family.... we were all starving however the place was fully packed.... we had to wait in line to get a table for 7 persons and when we finally had a table they ran out of soooo much stuff... they kept on telling us we are out of this, and this, and this, and this and that... it was a nightmare but fun haha... we didn't really have a choice so i had to ignore my frustration and chose whatever they had available and just laugh everything off..

as for their service... well they told us that serving food is an hour.. which is perfectly understandable considering we ordered a lot of foods... plus therestaurantwas fully packed... and so to be honest an hour of waiting.. i think the service is fast....

the foods? well.. the baby back ribs were lusciously tasty and their porkchop too.. the sisig and chicken were okay... i love the purple hazel cocktail!... the rainbow cake was sinfully rich and deliciously festive!...

their staff were all friendly and very accommodating...

well.. taking everything into account... it was an awesome night however it wasn't a perfect mothers day celebration because of our experience... but we chose not to let it ruin our night.. we just enjoyed the moment.. besides.. they were a newly openedrestaurantand it was fully packed they may not be anticipating the surge of people.... so i thought i'll give them a benefit of the doubt.. i'll definitely visit the place again...

good food, price was just right, proportions are quite big for 1 person but the rodents?? man, that killed the "romantic vibe", hearing rats on the second floor was really bad and goes to show that therestaurantwas not well maintained. cleanliness is my number 1 issue here. it was my first time to dine here and i don't think will dine here ever again.

not recommended. find other restaurants instead. ordered their 3 cheese pizza, we encountered a plot twist though: the pizza was accompanied by a dead roach. we didn't see the roach immediately because we were sitting outside therestaurantand the place was not well-lighted. they didn't even apologize for it. dine at your own risk.

no, just no! the food is mediocre. don’t be fooled by the architecture. basically one is paying for the venue alone. thisrestaurantcould benefit from hiring better cooks or training them to improve the taste level to match the venue.

we ate dinner here on new year's eve. the facade is so unique, because it's nontraditional; it's a pyramid!

although the "new" waiter gave us the wrong pasta (carbonara), therestaurantreplaced it with the correct one (seafood marinara) and get this... they did not let us pay, even though we unintentionally ate a portion of the carbonara already. everyone was so hungry and by the time we realized it was the "wrong pasta", it was almost too late. lol.

as i was about to rate the pyramid. i checked the ratings of theirrestaurantbecause i was curious how the other customers rated them. i was not surprised some people rated 2 and some 3. they deserve to be rated at that number. here’s my experience. this is actually my first time to eat here. when we entered at the restaurant, the staffs (it was a woman and a man) gave us a grumpy look and they didn’t even smile at all. i just ignored it, but that was strike one. we looked for a table for 5 and it was a busy sunday night so there were a lot of people, so the available tables were on dark areas with tiny lighting only ( we need lighting for picture purposes and so that we can see the food clearly). they only have 1 available table near the ac so we took it. we asked the waitress to have us transferred if there are any other available seats when a customer leaves. we realized that the tables upstairs were available so we asked the waiter if we can transfer upstairs and he said no because it is all full (maybe from reservations) but i was just surprised wow all the tables were really reserved upstairs? but i didn’t mind, thats strike 2. we already ordered our food then we asked the waiter to split the carbonara into two plates because they had a big serving of the pasta. he said they cant split it into two plates. my friend was pissed because this is not her first time eating at the pyramid and they usually split the pasta into two serving everytime they order a carbonara. thats strike 3. everytime we ask for a refill of service water they say “wait lng sir ha” then they come back around like 5 minutes just for a service water. i was really upset. the way they treat us or the way they give us a that grumpy look. most especially to that one waiter who was laughing when my gay friend was taking selfies. i asked my cousin because she was invited here for the opening of the pyramid she told me she was not happy of the food and the staffs attitude. strike 4, the food was not so good and their ribs were all bones haha i’m really disappointed.

the place is really nice. the abiance is a big thumbs up. the food is great. the place is a little too dim. but i guess it's the perfect lighting if you're on for a romantic date. therestaurantis perfect for special occasions. the food is worth the price.

the pyramid is iconic because its design is patterned after the french architecture, the louvre pyramid.

this place is not just pretty and perfect for your instagram feed but it also offers a wide variety of food: filipino, american, korean. it claims to be "elegantly affordable" and we can attest to that as food and drinks offering only costs around p35 to p1,200. some meals are also good for sharing.


we heard that the pyramid is good with desserts and so we ordered rainbow cake (p160 per slice) and french macaroons (p35 per piece).

the eatventurers

the food choices are typical pinoy dish, pizza and pasta. the food service is slow.. therestaurantsetting inside is okay but crowded with tables and chairs from outside but building is instagramable from the outside. we were there late friday night and there was a salsa night, your moms/grandmas favourite dance💃🏽. they clear off the tables and chair so we decided to leave.

the pyramid is one of a kindrestauranthere in cebu because of its structure and ambiance. therestaurantdoes not offer much in their menu but the price is affordable. their frappe tastes really awful, the rainbow cake is very attractive and sweet, the main courses taste fine. what i really like here is their lava cake although it is very little but its worth it and the place itself.

eat with style at an affordable price here at the pyramid. savor to their gigantic size burgers, appetizing pizzas, intricate selection of pastas, and sweet and stylish desserts all at a comfortable price.

they serve filipino dishes as well like pork sinigang, crispy pata, and bulalo. a sisig would be a perfect match for their wide selection of beers.

the design of therestaurantis the most eye-catching here in cebu. a structure which closely resembles that of the louvre pyramid in paris, france. its walls are made almost completely of glass. at night, therestaurantgleams with light brightening up its surrounding area. a magnificent sight to behold.

their customer service is also worth noting. their waiters are very polite and would really tend to all the diners. they even gave us complimentary water even when we didn't ask for one, and made sure its bottomless.

tip 1: the place has two floors and an outdoor seating. i recommend seating at the second floor to catch a great view of it park's garden block, while you savor your meal.

tip 2: what i didn't like so much about the place is the absence of a lavatory. yes, they do have comfort rooms but it gets a bit crowdy a lot and you'll find yourself in the pee queue when all you want is to wash your hands.

they just need to improve the way they serve their customers. we did not get to eat at thisrestaurantbecause the process by which they seat their walk-in guests is disorganized, and the management can't be bothered to lift a finger about it.

the overall appeal of thisrestaurantis the ambiance and place and of course the mirror in the cr which has lights that can be turned on and off. better to go there at night and experience the candlelight dinner, food was soso not really remarkable, the service was great, the staff were friendly and polite.

it's my first time to visit this place. good interior and interesting landscape + architecture, a must for everyrestaurantenthusiast to visit located in a very accessible area.

food tastes good - me and my friends tried their blueberry cheesecake and the taste was very good (heavenly).

just have an enough budget when you go here and come earlier to be able to access all the foods in the menu.

an improvement i suggest would be having enough crew to serve every customer, i was a bit disappointed when i called a waitress and i waited for around 5-6 minutes to give my payment for our food.

but generally, it was an experience to be remembered. i will visit this place again.
