omg!  want to ruin your diet? i'm a first time offender today!  never been here and ultimate cheese steak was amazing!  lots ofsteakand melty cheese with wonderful peppers.  i will be back!

it is so good. when you want a philly cheesesteakin this area it is the best. and the roll...wow!! my husband and i love it. also the philly dog...try it!!

amazing!!!. today was my first time going to the original steaks & hoagies and all i have to say is wow! i ordered a cheesesteakwith provolone, mushrooms, hot peppers, and mayo. it was amazing and it was the best cheesesteakthat i have ever eaten. now i don't have to go all the way to philly to get an authentic philly cheesesteaklol. i also ordered fries and they were amazing as well. the owner bill fromholzer jr. (a.k.a. billy from philly) and his father were two of the nicest people you will ever meet and that means a lot to me because i have been to a lot of places where the owner and staff weren't very nice! not to mention i am a dallas cowboys fan and they still were nice to me lol :) i will definitely go back again!!

just had my second trip to originalsteakand hoagie. most authentic philly i've ever had outside of philly. great job billy from philly...penn station has nothing on you guys!

just like home. i grew up outside of philly and these cheesesteaks are as close to home as i've gotten here in ohio. they are loaded with tendersteakand cheese. i went with my mom who grew up in philly and she said they were perfect. treat yourself and get the bay fries too!

just revolting. i drove over an hour to go there, because of the show 3 squares. well it was nothing like the show. i ordered 2 steaks to go. one with just cheese, because i like to taste the steak. the other 1/2steaksandwich with all the cheeses ( 3 ) and onion and mushrooms for my wife. when i got home and started eating i almost thew up! it was the most unpleasant, and shoddy sandwich i ever ate, and i am 63 years old. i had my 34 yr old son take a bite and he spit it out, and he will eat just about anything. well my wife's sandwich just had meat on it and nothing else. ( figures ) i not driving 2 hours round trip to take it back. by the way she didn't like hers either. she gave her mother a bite and she said, wow that is not very good is it. just as asteaksandwich it tasted putrid, foul and sour. for the gas i spent to get there and the $15 for the 2 sandwiches i will never believe the tv show 3 squares again. i hope this saves other people some money an unpleasant experience.

the best around. the originalsteakand hoagies is all that and then some... i heard about this place from co-workers, and believe me, it did not dissapoint. my wife and i both got combos and yes there was a little wait.... but it was lunch time ! and the wait was well worth it ! the beststeakphilly we've ever had ! fresh bread, and toppings, better than anywhere else in the cleveland area. i've been telling people to check this place out ever since. i love this place and will be back as much as possible.... two thumbs up guys !

true philly/jersey sandwiches. with a wife from new jersey and forty plus years of travelling to long beach island in new jersey for summer vacations, we know what a real cheesesteakor hoagie should taste like. the original steaks and hoagies will not disappoint. we ordered one of each to share and thought both were excellent representatives. the cheesesteakmeat was finely minced with onion and the cheese "wiz wit" was right on. the hoagie "italian" was on the right kind of hoagie roll and had the proper mix of deli meats, vegetables, and spices along with oil and vinegar. except for the clerk asking us if we wanted pickles on the hoagie, they constructed a nice sandwich. their "large" size is a meal in itself and we enjoyed splitting each sandwich. enjoyed sharing new jersey shore stories with the owner and his son.

couldn't wait to try this place out...i finally make it there spend $10.25 on a steakncheese combo and it took 27 minutes for my one combo.... i asked 2-3 times whats up, and they just told me the to go orders where heavy you gonna have to wait... wtf 27 minutes???? then the moment finally arrives and i go to the car to munch down, and my sandwich doesn't have mushrooms or the grilled onions on it....

and just from the walk to the car my sandwich was already cold and the bun was soaking wet.....it was the worst food i ever ordered... nothing like eating a cold, wet soggy wrongly made over ten dollar combo...

i would rather drive all the way to philly to get one instead.
