i ate here in late february for my boyfriends birthday and thought it was amazing! was a lot more pricey than the usual places i eat in edinburgh, but i think it's because we chose the most expensive dishes on the menu! but it was worth it! we got the haggis wellington and goats cheese bon bons to start, so good! for main course my boyfriend had the mixed grill which he said was amazing, though a bit fiddly because some of the seafood was still in its shells. i had the 16oz rump steak and it was cooked to perfection! thestaffwere great aswell! if you get cold easily ask to be seated upstairs because we kept getting s breeze downstairs from when the door was open! love this restaurant for its food, service and decor! definitely recommend the haggis wellington, rump steak and the baileys cheesecake!
