taste was good

i visited to this place which is completely decked and such a beautiful ambiance it is. i was completely impressed with their interiors.

the food was equally good. the items are so many and the bar option is also there with a very high grade service.

the dining which i chose was very luxurious and the service was also worth remembering.

they have taken care of all the food items which i have ordered to be on time and trust me they cook food in an awesome way. a must try for all

spicy cheese ball dumpling, this was an amazing dish and also had one more item tha is their poutine and with that few cocktails and beer and vodka was also ordered by me. it was fun to have these items from this place. i liked this place very much.

great for having drinks with a great variety.
the chicken wings is a must try.
also absinthe is a heaven here
great ambience with a royal feel to it also has a smoking room which you don't see much often in a bar

after a disappointing time at q bar, we decided to bar hop and crash at moon and six pence and man we were blown over. the music, ambience and crowd was just enthralling.
immediately placed at a decent part of the huge gastro pub, we ordered the signature club nachos and a few drinks. special mention to the carribean delight drink. best thing ever. nachos were really good too. great experience at this place. definitely a place to chill af.

i recently visited this place

i would like to mention this place was amazing.

i was 5/5 in all aspects.
be it food, drinks, ambience, crowd and what not.

it is a mind blowing place with beautiful presentation of food items.

exotic veg pizza not only had the right amount cheese and toppings but also had a thin and crisp crust.
and chocolate brownie with ice cream was like cheery on a cake. it had the perfect flavour of alcohol in it and was presented with vanila ice cream topping which added more to its taste.

i would surely love to visit that place again.

they have so many food items that are available over here in veg and non-veg but i liked here grilled young chicken very much
the price is also reasonable.

great ambience, a lot of things on the walls will interest you. seating is fun, especially around the bar. seating options for a mid-size group are just perfect.

the bar boasts of a never ending selection of alcohol, service staff is extremely helpful and courteous. got to a try a new beer, something british ( indian brand tho), should have stuck to kingfisher.

ordered a cajun burger, post personally confirming with chef whether it is available. burger came after 45 odd mins and was drier than alcohol situation in gujarat plus the fries were undercooked. yeah, under cooked fries. i have had fries which are fried twice, burnt, soggy but never had under cooked fries; complimented the burger well.

the service staff was courteous to ask me for feedback and promptly got the order changed to farafelle in pesto. this again took 30 odd minutes but turned out to be edible.

overall, avoidable.

aur bhi kaafi kuch hai yaha ke baare me.. pehle to yaha ke wyanjan .. dusri.. madeere... ye do jaha or behalf acha hota hai .. uss jagah pe fir koi dikaat ki baat hoti hi nai hai.. yaha ki khaasiyat aur pehchaan dono alag hai... aake dekhiye aapko acha lagega

the moon and sixpence club nachos, this is a vegetarian dish that i had from here. this was an amazing dish. it was cheesy and very good. i liked the food and everything very much. also loved their cottage cheese fingers and that too was great.

expresso martini, this is the cocktail that i had in coffee flavour and this cocktail was just so great. also had few items to have from here and it was awesome. i liked the food very much. in food, i had the buffalo chicken wings and that was a nice dish.

crunchy smokey broccoli, this i had and it was such a great item and it was fantastic. i liked it very much. the taste of it was good. also had the garden fresh vegetables bread and that was also an excellent dish. it had different vegetables inside it.

grilled lemon grass paneer, this is vegetarian item that i had. the paneer taste was so good. i liked the item very much. the other item i had was the paneer shashlik and i liked that item very much. the taste of paneer is great. the ambience of the place is good.

the moon and sixpense seems like a standard template ornate brit pub. the kind that became commonplace with the goeffrey's and firangi paani franchises all over the country.

a lot of wood and (faux?) leather with warm lighting, make this a perfectly dark and brooding bar to spend time in.

service is okay and the pub food falls a little short. the pub boasts a big range of imported bottled beer, but a lot of them are stale due to ageing and (possibly) improper storage and transit conditions. my asahi was imported in june 2015 and tasted very fruity for a dry beer. i switched immediately to the be draught which is palatable.

what makes masp work, for me, are the live acts. considering the paucity of decent destinations for live rock in chennai, this is a place to bookmark.
