the moon and sixpence - hablis hotel

so i was at hablis to meet a friend who was quarantined here. instead of just sitting in the lobby and yapping we decided to crash into tmas being a saturday night. we entered around 6.30 pm when it was quiet empty and the crowd started to come in as time went by. the whole ambience speaks irish, most of the seating were high stools and the whole place looked pretty for a bar and not to forget the dim lighting that changed to red later. themusicwas super boring and wasn’t groovy at all.

got pretty bored of domestic beer , so decided to go for imported one -hopper. i was told that it comes in two variants. withier and blonde and we decided to go with the former one and order for a pitcher. with a little less on alcohol content, the beer tasted delicious with a hint of wheat, barley and coriander seeds that’s used for a mild spice.

for sides we were given salted cuts and spicy peanuts that were complimentary. we order a portion of chilly chicken. taste wise it was authentic chinese but the portions was small for ₹399

for mains we order a portion of chicken tilka pizza which was priced at ₹699 . huge chunks of chicken tikka was good on a thin crispy crust.

my friend wanted more of alcohol so he ordered 6th sense with is a rum based cocktail. the drink quantity was tad bit less and it was mostly just foamy.

service was dead and super slow, needs to improve.

best place in chennai, we just went to see the place and ordered few beers and in food nachos the dish was very good

was meeting up with friends after a long time. it was saturday night and place was not crowded. we enjoyed our conversation over good drink and food. it’s a good place to hang out with friends however themusicis petty load so be prepared.

first things first, the variety of drinks will take you to the moon literally & metaphorically. so indulge liberally. the livemusic& dancing area adds to the exprience exponentially. seating options are numerous and the staff is courteous to craft a setting tailored to tour needs. downsides are the reservation needs before visiting the place, relatively higher priced items on the food menu compared to the quantity offerred & a slightly farther presence from the city centre.

a review for this place is long overdue! it became my must visit due to its irish bar vibes. and true to it, the ambience and decor were perfect.
staff were prompt in their service. and the place being a pretty large space with partitions they did manage to tend to their customers efficiently. i loved the look and feel of the place and themusicwas tasteful & went along well with the mood. they have extensive liquor options, cocktails too! i had my first irish stout beer here. sadly when i went they didn't have guinness. the drinks were perfectly made. but the food menu was the usual items we get in every other bar/pub in the city. i felt they could've had a few english/irish food in their menu. but the taste of the food served were not compromised. right from the starters to the dessert everything was yumm. the smoking area was like a breathe of fresh air when compared to the pubs in the city. being used to cramped spaces called smoking zones, this was a sight to soar eyes. at one point of time we just switched our tables to the smoking area and had a wonderful time.

an excellent evening with good beer and nice snacks.was a bit disappointed since no lamb or mutton or beef snacks were available and they only had basa fish.very strange.nomusic.the service was excellent.my bartender jai was really polite and patient.overall a nice evening.

the staff is friendly and polite. the ambience needs a little update. otherwise a decent place to drink and play a game of pool or two. themusiclive nights tend to be refreshing change as the dj sets do get too loud and tedious .

i have a zomato gold privilege... as zomato suggestions, i have gone there since i was also staying in the same hotel. they said some concert was there n charged 600per head with free unlimited starters for entry and zomato gold is not applicable on this event. they brought somemusiccollege students and it was a mediocre.
starters are horrible... and only selected items. total waste of money and time. ended up in food poison next day morning.

the internals have been rightly built and they look so beautiful. it was the main thing that attracted me so much.

the cooking style and the presentation style is also good which will keep you engaged and you will feel so tempted to have more food. i liked the place
a damn pretty hotel having the right combination of themusicand ambience.

ennumber of specialties are there like the livemusicwhere you can groove with you friends, nightlife, pool table , full bar availability , live sports screening, luxury dining. no one can even imagine so much specialities. it will be a real fun visiting this restaurant and having lip smacking food

we get full on enjoyment in this place. we get to dance, we get to drink different drinks, we get to listemmusicand everything. we just come here chill and have a great time. apart from this they got an excellent taste too in their food.

they have really goodmusic,luxury dining is also available over here and upon that this place has a very goof position and comes on one of the best place to visit for nightlife as well as for the dinner and they have a smoking place too.

i have been to this place last sunday along with my friends. the place is very very good in serving the food and is also very descent.

the livemusicwas being played when i visited, also the service inside was quite impressive. no dark environment and a very lively one to actually enjoy the nightlife. all those who like to have drinks was also there. a luxurious dining area was also there.
