went here on a saturday night with a group of about a dozen friends. music volume was about a million decibels making it impossible for anyone to talk. a tip for the publican. people don't want to go to a pub to get bleeding ears. nice ambience nice food and an ability to mix and be social with friends on a night out is the enjoyment. not sitting in a pub and listening to loud doof doof dance music - sure, play music but make it sit in the background as an addition to ambience. not shoved in our faces like a sledge hammer. also, maybe have live hard rock bands during the week and put on people who have a broader music playbook on the weekends. the food? - was actually not too bad for pub fare. service was good. the 600 bucks cover charge on guys is obviously not a deterrent. the ratio was about 50 dudes to one girl the other night.
