the misfit restaurant + bar

i've visited the misfit twice now with one visit being good and the other being purely awesome.

plates were ordered both visits with some the same and some differing from the previous trip. one of which was the chicken sandwich that is delicious. the mac n cheese was ordered again, this time without the chorizo...amazing!!! the chorizo is a side item i can most definitely do without because i really got to taste the flavor of the mac n cheese and pancetta the second time around. it was awesome before but without the extra topping, it was excellent.

another item is the prime rib nik niks that was just asdeliciousas they were from the last visit.

the atmosphere of the misfit bar is live and exciting with lots of people to socialize with while having drinks. there will be plenty more visits to come as misfit continues to impress.

awesome food and service! the kale salad is amazing and so is the spaghetti squash:)
the mushroom soup isdelicioustoo. our server was prompt and kind...

i had the avocado toast with bursts and it was divine. it was hefty and tasteful. i also split a chicken sandwich and it was served on brioche which naturally makes everything better! it was sooo good, with some daikon / pickled radishes- yum! on a thursday night, it was packed, there was no room to stand at the bar but that's ok because we were told if we ordered food we could have a table and be seated right away. the drinks weredelicioustoo, we ordered classic drinks so those are hard to mess up. the vibe was trendy, the service was decent, but the best part were the free salty chocolate chip cookies at the end of our meal :)

love love love their happy hour. also, the kombucha on tap is fantastic! had their ginger berry blend today and i loved it. harissa that goes with the chickpea lettuce wraps is fiery hot and amazing. the kale salad with sunflower seeds and grapes is alsodeliciousand can be made vegan. yum. my husband was crazy about the mac n cheese, but i didn't try it. we'll be back!

triple threat- great food, cocktails and service!. love the small plates menu that makes sharing and tasting multiple items so much fun. the bacon wrapped dates with almonds and goat cheese were amazing! we also loved the iron skillet fried chicken, so juicy and crispy - just the way its supposed to be. i've had the burger before and itsdeliciousand if we would have been more than 2 people we would have gotten that as well. the spiced red lentils were good, but next time i want to try the chargrilled broccoli or grilled artichocke. the clocktower manhattan cocktail did not disappoint and we knocked down a few. the food was great and memorable, but it was the service that really stuck out. we started the night outside and eventhough the misfit was crowed with a 30+ minute wait, they pro-actively worked to get us out of the cold and seated in the restaurant. all of the service was prompt and attentive throughout. can't wait to go back!
