came here for bottomless brunch on a busy saturday afternoon. atmosphere was great, music was pumping and the decor is very insta worthy. food was disappointing. i ordered the eggs benny and it came with hardly any hollandaise. service was even worse. there was a long wait between mimosa top ups and the waitress seemed to be avoiding us when we attempted to get her attention. giving a rating of 3 instead of 2 as we complained to the manager and he provided a suitable remedy. will visit again to give them another go.

fun as always. morgan, who looked after us, was an absolute peach. great place, vibe and fizz. the dj was playing tunes that suited the day. 10/10

went in for lunch this afternoon after reading some decent reviews of the lula inn.
the place was quite empty and had plenty of tables, we chose to sat on the high bench looking over the view. wish the chairs were abit higher as the bench was to high for the chairs which made it uncomfortable when it came to eating our food.

for food we ordered a large chicken pizza to share and chicken wings. the pizza was delicious, but cant say the same for the wings as they looked stale and not very visually pleasing to eat. the wings weren’t seasoned nicely, only had these two sauces which tasted like thickened soy sauce drizzled on top. they were cooked well from inside however.

i highly enjoyed my frozen strawberry cider which was recommended by one of the waitress who was taking the order. it tasted better than the normal chilled cider bottles.

the location is amazing as well as the interior, would definitely come back to try something different next time.

love the lula! our waitress morgan was an absolute gem. humble pours, never had to sit on an empty glass for more than a minute. food is quite small but who is really there for that anyway.

came here for a bottomless brunch with a group (10+ people) and we were quite underwhelmed... the atmosphere was great, but the food took over an hour to come out after ordering and the mimosas were a very weak (mostly juice...) the worst thing was the food! most of the meals had poached eggs and almost every egg on the table was way overdone! really disappointing considering the price. definitely won’t be back.

the space is very versatile and you can choose from sitting in a water facing seat or a trendy indoor space. the service is good and the place has a nice atmosphere which turns into a bit of a party after hours on fridays with a live band. this place is conveniently located in the viaduct. i’d go back to try their popular bottomless brunch!

the bottomless brunch is so fun! great vibes, loud music and the mimosas are free-flowing and waitresses are attentive. had heard the food wasn’t that great so was greatly surprised with the bolognaise on toast which was substantial and quite yum! my friend got the pancakes though and they were cold. the time goes so fast though, wish we could have stayed for longer, such a great time!

after waiting ages to be seated even though we booked, we had rude staff that couldn’t even try act happy to be there, she then mucked up 2 orders out of all 5. they then returned with burnt bread and eggs that looked disgusting to be sent back a second time. bad service, terrible sickly food and staff that couldn’t care less that they constantly keep stuffing it up.

great drinks and ambiance. but not a place to eat for dinner. my husband had a work function here and unfortunately, the food served to us was very disappointing. entree was average, could be better main and the dessert, most of us got a watery and gluey creme brulee.

i went to the lula inn for the first time today (17/11/18). their bottomless brunch is great and a good way to spend some time if you’re a tourist. i absolutely loved the experience and can guarantee i’ll be back for more! my good, bad and ugly as follows:

good:
- the atmosphere is amazing!
- they’ve got a nice tropical theme going on inside and the staff are great.
- i love that staff were able to accommodate our group’s requests!
- the views if you get a seat by the windows or outside.
- the food!
- the bottomless mimosas!

bad:
- it’s way too loud.

ugly:
- the food came out about 40-minutes before our 2-hour seating came to an end and we were starving by this point.

as you can see, there wasn’t anything major that went wrong. for the most part it was a fun experience and i can’t wait to go there again!

i came here yesterday and had the $20
fish and chips, the food was lovely however i feel the portion was a tiny bit small, however the view definitely made up for it!

beautiful dining environment, with lots of greenery’s, and overlooking the stunning harbour.

they make lovely cocktails. the serving size of the drinks were generous too.

we ordered a couple of starters to share. the pork belly bites were very nice: tender with a flavorful sticky sauce. the duck pancake was also interesting: tasted of a combination of wasabi & peanuts, i did find the duck a bit dry though. the sichuan pepper squid was also pleasant, but the flavour was definitely not sichuan, but again more of a wasabi flavour.

for mains, husband enjoyed his chicken burger with a tangy buttermilk dressing. my pizza base was not exactly crispy like how i like them, but the four cheese topping was delicious.

service for the food was quite slow though. all in all, their cuisine is more kiwi/european, nothing too special for one to specifically visit; but definitely a great place to grab drinks after work :)
