not the best experience, but good food. good food, good prices, kid friendly and understaffed. our family rarely goes out because we have some people with celiac disease in our family. the local cow has gluten free buns for their burgers and gluten free beer as well. the food was really good and the kids loved their little theatre game thing they had on the tv. however, theservicewas not very good. the waitress seemed annoyed with our questions, which i understand, but with celiac disease being a very serious disease we have to make sure that there is no gluten in any bbq sauce, chips etc. it was busy at the time, but there needs to be some patience when dealing with food allergies. otherwise, you can lose a lot of customers. to top it off, when our kids got their hotdogs (which we had told the waitress no buns since they couldn't have gluten either) the hot dogs came with buns. we just took the buns off (even though we should have told them to remake the hot dogs...yes with celiac you have to be that strict) but instead we decided to let it slide this time. they are understaffed there and really need to get another waiter in there. in the waitresses defense, she seemed to be doing two peoples jobs and was bussing tables, taking orders, delivering food and checking on customers. had they had enough people working, we probably wouldn't have felt like we were that annoying customer everyone hates. i really would like to see this place succeed since we did enjoy our time there and i can see it being a success, but it will be difficult for us to feel safe going there if the people working there aren't sure what's in the bbq sauce and teriaki sauce etc and then mess up our order when we have serious food allergies. other than the obviously understaffed restraunt and the food issues, it was a great place. i'm hoping if we make it in there again it will be a better experience.
