cuban sandwiches. i work right around the corner and frequent thegrillfor lunch, usually get the lunch special with porkchops or chicken which is very good. the empanadas are small and not very flavorful. the cuban sandwich i had 2 times as an eat in and they were good but not the best. i did a to go order and was extremely dissatisfied, the sandwiches were very soggy!! i thought it was a one time thing and again ordered cubans for staff, brought to the attention of the lady taking the order on the phone. she apologized. i ordered again and the cubans were still soggy, the bread was not crunchy at all. i even asked her to extra press the sandwich. not many places in brandon by my job in teh evening can we get anything other than fast food. disappointed! :(

the latingrillin brandon (formerly known as the latin cafe 2000) has long been a dining destination for my family. we visited the old location for breakfast and would often order their pancakes and eggs. after the opening of the new location on john moore road, latingrillhas vastly expanded their menu and added plenty of great things to the menu. one of my favorite items on the menu is their breakfast burrito. my first inclination when i read the words “breakfast burrito” on the menu is “ick”, but as it turns out the latin grill’s breakfast burrito is absolutely fantastic. they put tasty pieces of steak inside a burrito with egg and cheese. some people might consider it more of a brunch item, but regardless i thought it was great and the portion were huge for the price. i came starving and had to take half the burrito home. on my last visit i ordered latin grill’s steak sandwich with french fries and a malta india. the sandwich was great and completely filling and the fries were go

i have been frequenting latingrillfor at least 5 years now, since it was called latin cafe 2000. the food and service are top notch. growing up in south florida, i have seen all kinds of cuban sandwiches and must say that theirs trumps them all. my favorites are the latingrillsandwich (a neat take on the trad cuban with sausage) and the ropa vieja. can't beat 'em!

simply awesome. i was born and raised in south florida. i moved to this area two years ago and until i found the latingrilli couldn't find amazing cuban food. my family and i now eat there at least once or twice a week. i can't praise the food, wait staff or owners enough. it is a wonderful place to dine. i even have co-workers going there and coming back with praises as well. the portions are tremendous, the flavors authentic, and the atmosphere is comfortable and very friendly. congrats!

holy pretty pink sangria!. went to the latingrillwith my friends and family on saturday and they were featuring a pretty pink sangria and it was delicious. i had their surf and turf a lo sofrito and it was amazing. i will def be back and recommend to anyone. place rocks!

wow, wow, wow. i have to agree with the 4 out of 5 reviews. this places rocks. my wife asked me to pick up latingrillfood today and when the i placed the order, they recommend i try there new devil crab. wow, i usually go to tampa, for those that know what place i'm talking about ;) but its just as good if not better. i also tried there milanesa and it was so good. had enough for dinner and lunch tomorrow. will be back and highly recommand this place.

fantastic. as i said on my other review we go to latingrilla lot. we love it . the personal is wonderful. we had the new improved devil crab today and it was great. i always go to carmines in ybor city but now i don't have to go out of brandon. it was pure blue crab and so delicious and huge my husband and i shared one and had a cup of soup and i will tell you we were stuffed. they also make also stuffed potatoes and those are great everything is great and as for the review that says they don't have crackers he's right but who need saltines and when you get great cuban bread that you can also have with soup. try them you won't be sorry. since they got out of the franchise they keep getting better and better. los bellos ignacio y maida

it's great. we go a lot to latingrillformerly called the latin cafe and it gets better everyday.
they have great specials and great live music on fridays.
the employees and the owners are great very personable and very nice. we love it there.
we enjoy the music and everyone in the groups that go for the music are very friendly. i would recommend this place. try it and you will like it. if there is something you want that they don't have on the menu ask them and they will try to make it for you gladly.

good to the last onion.. lol. come on people, you have to have a lot of time on your hands to give a review with details on the color of the tomatoes???? and come on its a latin grill, who wants crakers??. lol... simple, i seldom go out to eat at unknown locations but latingrillwas on the way one night from an appointment and i stopped by with my parents and it was really good. the owners are very friendly and the cook even came out and talked to my dad for a little bit. if you can, try their specialty fruit drinks, i had the mora in milk, which was awesome.. def will go back :)

friday night experience. my wife, mother, and i went to the latingrillfor dinner, and boy! were we ever disappointed. there was only one other booth/table busy when we got there, and there were at least 6 servers standing around chatting, and joking with each other.
the service throughout the meal was pathetic, and the quality and presentation of the food was very marginal. for instance i ordered a "chef's salad", and 20 minutes later the server brought a large bowl of lettuce strips that weren't chilled, the tomatoes were at best pale pink, the cheese looked like it had been sitting out for a very long time,as it was very crusty and dried out, and very difficult to cut up with a serrated knife that was furnished.
i also ordered soup, and when the server brought it i ask her for crackers, and her reply was they don't have crackers. what kind of restaurant, serves soup, and doesn't have crackers?
