ok, let's get this out of the way now...the food is passable.  but the service...kills this place really.  we walked in at the same time as another couple and were quickly seated.  but, both of our parties sat there for over 10 minutes before we were even noticed.  my wife and i were just about to put the menus down and go to the recipe box, when we finally got attention.  the drinks came out and the bread with the dips...very good actually.  but, they brought my "tortilla" out as an omelet.  i was stationed in spain for over 3 years and i know what tortilla looks/tastes like...it's not an omelet.  so, i told the server and she wanted to agree with me and was embarrassed. 

after a long while and well after my wife finished her marginal medianoche sandwich, the tortilla came out.  it was ok, but i never even got the potatoes that were supposed to be on the side.  the server felt horrible and brought me some flan on the house to take home.  that was nice, but we won't be back again sadly.  it's a shame when the service outweighs your opinion of the food and dictates the future of your choices.

i'm sad to say that i have being in this place twice and found hair in my food. when i look at the kitchen the chefs weren't wearing hair nets. it was really disgusting. i never give reviews but with the bad experience twice, i had to put it out there. also, the service took to long to approach me.

service at the latin grill. ,the food is very good i've had many of the items on the menu an enjoyed them all,the music and dancing on friday night were fun, the service is terrible long waits for attention ,even to pay i guess that's because theautomatic gratuity they add on i reccomend it to eaat but prepare service is terrible

worst service. i visited this place on friday night around 7:30 pm, everything was fine until the live band began to play and the waitress cleaned my table and asked me if i want a beer or something else, my answer was no, and immediately they told me that they need the table for someone else. i recommend never visit this place unless you want to spend money stupidly.

be careful i went with my wife and they charged me 18% of gratuity...... there are better places with "live music and service"

yes!! service is important.... i placed an order for pickup during lunch which was to be ready within 10 minutes. i arrive 15 minutes later, no one was at the register. the place is practically empty giving me the impression i would be served quickly. a server eventually appears and asks if i'm there for a pickup. i respond yes. they proceed to make coffee taking up a few more minutes and then go in the back to get my order together. they then process my credit card payment and place the receipt and pen in front of me and walk away. sheesh.... did not mean to interrupt their schedule with my business.

however, back at the office eating my lunch, i must say the food is great!!! even my co-worker had some of my lunch because it looked so yummy.

question is.... does the food outweigh the service?

if not pressed for time, i will certainly revisit.

worst service!!! rude managment!!. i called an order in. once i got there, i was rushed out and didn't get a chance to check it. in the end, i have 2 of the 3 items i ordered and they're wrong. i called and a hispanic man that refused to give me his name was extremely rude. i am disputing the charge with my credit card company and will never go there again!!!!!! stay away!!!!!!!

retired. as i promised, i was there yesterday, thursday jan. 16 and i did not toticed any changes on the slow service. i had the shrimp mofongo and it was not any good. the sauce tasted like was made days ago perhaps weeks. once we were served the lady came once and then, once we were done she came back and did not mentioned anything about desserts. she drop the check and she did come back for at least ten minutes. i will not return to this place again. we will be looking for another cuban or puerto rican restaurant.

retired. i must agree with the majority of the people about the service. these people should be better trained. sometimes, restaurants don't get repeat custumers because their service is not putting the customer first. i went there about two months ago and the service was very slow although there were not too many people. please make the service better by going back to the table periodically to check on customers and ask if they liked the food and what else they need. i will go back on thursday to give it another try, so be ready.

meh!. i went there for the first time saturday night. the service was extremely slow. the food was so-so, and we didn't escape before the deafening music began. turn it down, people, did you know the sound is distorted because it's too loud?

the people we went with told us the food was good the first time they went and bad the second. so i'd say it's inconsistent.

great food!!. fantastic food and presentation. very reasonable and very well served food with a very relaxed atmosphere!

really good food and great portions, however service is so so slow. you have to wait forever to get your food especially on fridays. mangement should do something about it because they aee loosing cutomer because of this.

bad customer service/food. we ordered food here. baked chicken, white rice black beans. i asked how long? they said 20 minutes.
when i arrived i was told the chicken was being made. i waited 45 minutes, to find out the chicken was stew chicken and the black beans were bland like they just poured them out of a can and added water. i was disappointed! won't eat there again. wont order any more food from there.it is sad that spanish restaurants are so poorly managed, thus many businesses go out of business because of this.

cuban sandwiches. i work right around the corner and frequent the grill for lunch, usually get the lunch special with porkchops or chicken which is very good. the empanadas are small and not very flavorful. the cuban sandwich i had 2 times as an eat in and they were good but not the best. i did a to go order and was extremely dissatisfied, the sandwiches were very soggy!! i thought it was a one time thing and again ordered cubans for staff, brought to the attention of the lady taking the order on the phone. she apologized. i ordered again and the cubans were still soggy, the bread was not crunchy at all. i even asked her to extra press the sandwich. not many places in brandon by my job in teh evening can we get anything other than fast food. disappointed! :(

food was ok the service was lousy asked the waiter for a lemon never brought it while i waited for a time i had to asked another waitress to bring it. then had to wait forever for a refill and a box to take food home and the place was basically empty. went on saturday 16th of february
