stunning location on the water with the bridge and the iconic ortakoy mosque in the background. open and airy, the quirky venue alone will generate happy vibes! the service is really good.
do try: the pasta with yoghurt, meat and walnuts.
it's a really unexpected yet delightful taste. light and refreshing it was very much enjoyed
no need for: the house meatballs
it was a little heavy and the meat was just a touch chewy
we also had the chicken bbq salad where the bbq sauce was slightly oversweet and syrupy but the tzatziki was perfection. the tabbouleh also had too much burgul.
the tea is good but gets quite strong towards the end.
when eating in ortakoy and you want something simple yet low key but not fast food, this is your place!
