this place is worth getting a 5 star. everything seems perfect the food, the seating arrangements, the service, and the staff members. just waiting for my next visit.

the ambience of this restaurant is so calming. it instantly relaxes you the moment you enter. the interiors are very much in sync with our northeastern cultures. the greenery on the outside is such a treat to the eyes.
coming to the food - we ordered shillong noodles with chilli pork and bbq pork ribs. both the dishes were very well made. the shillong noodles made me nostalgic as i have lived my childhood in that beautiful city!
this place gives you the perfect peaceful fine dining experience. the staff is nice and courteous. the service is super quick. a little bit on the pricey side of course, but then all fine dining restaurants are. wonderful experience overall.

it's a fantastic place to be. whether for food or stay or for both. they offered best from their kitchen, with freshness. we stayed there for two night three days. so, we have the luxury to taste from breakfast to dinner. it's well decorated for family and friends. spacious. bar is well equipped with varieties. food was exceptionally tasty. didn't try anything from 'northern india' part of menu. so, cannot speak for that. but orient, cafe and everything else was really good. enjoyed. will come back soon!

had a perfect sunday lunch. absolutely loved the place. the quality of food was up to the mark. would definitely like to visit the place sometime soon.

this place is so cool and classy. parking facility is there. the platting of the food is so decorative. inside ambience is good too. i would love to visit again.

leaves and weaves a sophisticated restaurant in zoo road tiniali the central point where you can taste different styles of food be it north indian,chinese,assamese etc.
so we had our bihu celebration here. i feel good food with good drink is a celebration.
talking about the food:it was awesome. each and every bite was delicious.specially the singapore noodles and kungpao chicken is a must try if you visit leaves and weaves.and if i talk about the dessert fresh fruit pancake was awesome.
taking about the ambience: it's a very beautiful place. the staffs were very polite and decent. service was quick.

i absolutely loved leaves & weaves. the food here is amazing. this quiet place is extremely sophisticated, the staff very polite and the service fantastic. the decor is simple, which is okay cause quality doesn’t need to loud. i would recommend people to try this place asap.

this place is very pretty with friendly staff . i really had a good time there with my friends. ambience is good. i went for lunch there! the food was okay but i didn't find that much tasty .

my ratings are given only based on my 1st visit there. located in the guwahati address, leaves and weaves is a classy beautiful restaurant. its a perfect place for a romantic date. its an expensive one. the quality and the taste of the food is good. but the quantity they give is very less according to the price.

coming to the management, i dont know what to say. i called up leaves and weaves on 31st december 2017 to ask at what time it will open on the next day (1st january 2018) and the person who received my call clearly mentioned that the restaurant opens at 7:30am daily till 10:30 pm. and accordingly me and my fiancee went there on new year at 11:30am. outside i even asked the security is the restaurant open and he replied yes. i went inside and as soon as i was about to sit a waiter came and said "plz go ma'am restaurant is closed and it opens at 12:30pm"
is this behaiour acceptable? are u running a restaurant like this without any management? one says its open other says its close?

again am editing here, the manager of leaves & weaves called me up and apologized for everything. and am very much impressed to see that leaves & weaves is having such a well behaved manager. sure for a visit soon👍

a great place to dine at if you know what to order. their chinese courses are delectable but the indian dishes, not so much. the place is good for family dinners, fancy dates and if you want to impress a potential business client.

it was nice experience..went for a dine in..the ambience was good ,calm and music was soothing..interior was nice...now the food was only average , something they should work upon...and the oriental menu had only 3 pork items.,not much of a variety..the service is all ok..but taste was not upto the mark...

really good, posh ambiance, but not really a pocket friendly place. the food was also average, in terms of both quality and quantity, considering the amount i paid. the pancakes were really good though. service is good but then again, the card machine wasn't working when i went and they had no change for 2000 so, that was another issue!

leaves & weaves is the restaurant in the hotel the guwahati address, situated in zoo tiniali. it's the sister hotel of the two famous hotels in shillong - the center point and ri-kynjai.
i happened to visit this place recently...and i must admit, as the name suggests ...the decoration and ambience of the place is very soothing and peaceful.
review-
food- they serve asian, northeastern, indian and chinese cuisine. we tried their crispy fried chicken...looks wise ... didn't look appealing...but taste was very good...it went well with beers!
tried masala kulcha and laal murgi( chicken with red spicy gravy) was very good and fulfilling.
also tried plain rice with their famous shillong smoked pork with bamboo shoots dish...it was quite good...smoked pork ...just like thats found in shillong!
cost is slightly on the higher side...but the quantity of all the items were good enough for two people! we were 3 of us...quite hungry ...we had our stomachs full with these items... couldn't even try out their desserts!
ambience- the place is beautifully decorated with natural elements, with soothing colours and plants, nice furnitures... really peaceful place to have a meal. they have a smoking zone too.
service- decent service..staff served our food quite quickly.
they have valet parking. only one thing i was concerned about is their card swiping machines were not getting proper network!( i saw this issue in some other review in zomato)... luckily i had some cash with me!
overall it's a very nice place for a peaceful meal..and to impress your near and dear ones,😀

the first time that i have been to this place and honestly speaking its worth going to..
had ordered fresh shillong pork,kung pao chicken,shredded chicken with bell pepper and pork & shrimp fried rice..
every item tasted very nice specially the fried rice and the pork..
but the shredded chicken was an ordinary one..
the huge turn off was that they served tomato sauce and mustard sauce directly from bottles..thats something that should not be happening in a good restaurant!
overall it is a thumbs up as a guest..

it was a random dinner plan and we decided to visit this quiet... not-so-noisy fine dine restaurant in the city. located in one of the busiest location of the city-zoo road, this restaurant will give you one of the best 'your-time' or 'no-disturbance' feeling. the staff is really very courteous, perfect dim lights, classy music on the background and an amazing interiors will definitely attract your attention.
as far as the food goes, i will still say that it is ok-ok and nothing that great but over-all good clean and fresh taste. i like the food quality and the quantity is decent too.
somehow i felt their taste could have been better which i am sure they will work upon.
but i absolutely enjoyed my time being there.
