the guwahati address

went there for a lunch date and my experience was simply wonderful. the ambience and service were excellent. the restaurant was not overcrowded and it gave us anicespace to talk and relax.
we ordered chicken dimsums, thai grilled prawns, honey chilli chicken, egg fried rice and lemon pie. all the dishes were amazing and we couldn't have been happier with the quality and quantity. the drinks (cocktail) were good too.
leaves and weaves is my new favourite in the city and will surely visit again.

as you enter the restaurant 'leaves & weaves' you feel a very positive vibe. simple, serene and calm.

it is a multi cuisine restaurant, and we happened to visit this place not once but thrice.
once we had the blue hills platter and the second time the assamese thali and the third time the basic mutton curry and rice..
it never failed to give us mind blowing food all the three times.
full marks for service and food quality.

they could just more of desserts though.
only three desserts were there on the menu though all werenicebut we wanted more.

the ambience of this restaurant is so calming. it instantly relaxes you the moment you enter. the interiors are very much in sync with our northeastern cultures. the greenery on the outside is such a treat to the eyes.
coming to the food - we ordered shillong noodles with chilli pork and bbq pork ribs. both the dishes were very well made. the shillong noodles made me nostalgic as i have lived my childhood in that beautiful city!
this place gives you the perfect peaceful fine dining experience. the staff isniceand courteous. the service is super quick. a little bit on the pricey side of course, but then all fine dining restaurants are. wonderful experience overall.

it wasniceexperience..went for a dine in..the ambience was good ,calm and music was soothing..interior was nice...now the food was only average , something they should work upon...and the oriental menu had only 3 pork items.,not much of a variety..the service is all ok..but taste was not upto the mark...

leaves & weaves is the restaurant in the hotel the guwahati address, situated in zoo tiniali. it's the sister hotel of the two famous hotels in shillong - the center point and ri-kynjai.
i happened to visit this place recently...and i must admit, as the name suggests ...the decoration and ambience of the place is very soothing and peaceful.
review-
food- they serve asian, northeastern, indian and chinese cuisine. we tried their crispy fried chicken...looks wise ... didn't look appealing...but taste was very good...it went well with beers!
tried masala kulcha and laal murgi( chicken with red spicy gravy) was very good and fulfilling.
also tried plain rice with their famous shillong smoked pork with bamboo shoots dish...it was quite good...smoked pork ...just like thats found in shillong!
cost is slightly on the higher side...but the quantity of all the items were good enough for two people! we were 3 of us...quite hungry ...we had our stomachs full with these items... couldn't even try out their desserts!
ambience- the place is beautifully decorated with natural elements, with soothing colours and plants,nicefurnitures... really peaceful place to have a meal. they have a smoking zone too.
service- decent service..staff served our food quite quickly.
they have valet parking. only one thing i was concerned about is their card swiping machines were not getting proper network!( i saw this issue in some other review in zomato)... luckily i had some cash with me!
overall it's a veryniceplace for a peaceful meal..and to impress your near and dear ones,😀

the first time that i have been to this place and honestly speaking its worth going to..
had ordered fresh shillong pork,kung pao chicken,shredded chicken with bell pepper and pork & shrimp fried rice..
every item tasted verynicespecially the fried rice and the pork..
but the shredded chicken was an ordinary one..
the huge turn off was that they served tomato sauce and mustard sauce directly from bottles..thats something that should not be happening in a good restaurant!
overall it is a thumbs up as a guest..
