i've been to dehradun so many times, but this was the first time i visited gip. lovely ambience, warm welcome. we visited on a tuesday and they have this amazing offer running for ladies - thirsty tuesday. more like the ladies night!the music is good, service is excellent.we loved the pav bhaji fondue, and the biryani aranchini.

i had visited the great indian pub a few days ago
went with my friends.
ambience of the pub is obviously great. they have outdoor sitting arrangement as well. washrooms are quite clean.
food is actually good. no doubt
i had paneer tikka in starters which tasted really delicious
white sauce creamy pasta which was again really nice.
fries platter which had masala fires, plain salted potato wedges.
and in beverages we had lemon iced tea which was good
hot chocolate and mocktail( forgotten the name)
everything was nice what i didn't like was that price did not match the quantity of the food.
quantity is quite quite less and food is expensive.

hands down, its the best party place in dehradun.....may it be food, drinks, music or ambience, everything was flawless. had a wonderful time here. the best part is that it’s open till 1 am.

honestly i’d heard so much about this place that i expected to have a good time. however my experience was exactly the opposite.

the place is shady, with a whole bunch of rude staff to deal with. we were denied our choice of seating on the terrace, and also repeated requests to turn down the volume were ignored.

the food was so bad. the chicken platter was so basic and so not worth the price. the pizza was tasteless and hard like a crunchy biscuit.

also, they keep a 1000 bucks cap on the entry, ensuring that you spend at least that much. total waste of money and time. not recommended if you’re looking for a nice classy evening out.

total disappointment. we requested for a four seater place and were turned down rudely by the waiter who stated that since we were just two people therefore we are only allowed the two seater place. i mean who does that. thats just bizzare. the entire terrace was empty.

next we requested them to lower the volume on the speakers. again our requests fell on deaf ears.

next came the food. now who serves eggs on a chicken platter (costing 650 bucks!!!) i mean..really!! then came the pizza. a basic margarita was what we ordered and it was bland as hell and the crust was a hard as a biscuit.

honest reviews: it's way too pricy regarding the management they have got. there is no cap in entry. i went there saturday night and the entry charge was rs.1000 per couple. dude you'll find all sort of crowd there, there are no tables, so people are using prepaid bars and just making a chaos at the free area. also, a police personal came inside which lead many people to leave. i thought it's pricy so it would be classy, but it wasn't. the fault was in its management. though there north indian food is very good.

awesome place in the middle of nowhere. amazing view with a variety of options for foodies. a must go when in dehradun and you don't know the city

the place is big and spacious...ambience is well maintained...the drinks were pretty good and the food was delicious...worth spending time with friends and family..

loved the outdoor sitting. amazing atmosphere and cordial staff. food is a bit expensive but the alcohol is cheap. the crowd is good and hip. weekends are a good visit for youngsters.

food wasn't great. ordered three types of chicken and everything tasted like it was marinated in the same base with minor variation. drinks were okayish and same quality can be expected in a cheaper bar.
view was good but does little to compensate for the boring food compounded by not rude but unenthusiastic staff. overall an unexciting and boring experience. definitely not worth the money.

bit noisy but pubs are supposed to be. good view of mussorie from terrace. good snacks. entrance was sad and smelly because of neighbouring property. after entering its was a different world

ambiance is good and 'll get beautiful view of mussoorie. food is average. the only disappointing thing is slow service and the untrained staff, they can't handle weekend crowd.

probably thee only descent pub in town. its well built and has an excellent terrace space with great views of mussoorie.

food - chicken tikka with tamarind is a great alternative to the usual ones. tandoori chicken is succulent and 'masaledaar' with the right amount of spice and tanginess. the pizzas are good and of a good size. biryani definitely is the best they offer amongst the indian dishes.

beverage - good options for beer and descent cocktails. beer tubs are of good value.

service - is very good and staff is attentive even on saturday nights when the place gets full.

overall, a good, clean, place to enjoy a weekend.
