awesome place to hangout inspite of being apubthey serve alcohol only on weekends idk why but everything else seems to be good nice ambience food music etc etc etc...

as the name goes, the great indianpubis truly great in every sense . right from the food to the cocktails , they have a wide range to choose from . the view is amazing and live music adds up to the entire experience.
vodka paani puri shots are just out of the world .

the great indianpubis a perfect place to hang around with friends or family. with beautiful ambience they provide both indoor and outdoor seating.
coming to food, they have variety of starters to offer, which are good enough to drop your idea of having main course. since you'll be full by starters only!
we had many starters and all were very fine.
prices are not very pocket friendly, but not that expensive as well. also they have very cool saturday party nights, for you to drool over some good food and songs.
must try- kurumali chicken/paneer, chilli mushrooms, sharabi tikka, kitkat shake, fries bucket, chocolate chutzpah and what not.

highly overrated place.. except ambience there is nothing worth to visit it.. if you are going in party mood then let me clear that u'll be disappointed as they don't serve alcoholic drinks which is not mentioned in zomato. food was ok. service was bad as when we complained about the food which was served the chef reheated it and brought back the half dish which was left in the serving plate. onions and lemon served was definitely stale as one can figure out the fresh cut veggies esp a person like me who has a good culinary skills. we again complained about the dish which was bad in taste , half cooked and just tonnes on masala on the bones, the chef came and asked us to order some other dish of choice. now please dont say that it was cooked. many people really have good taste buds and have dined and tasted more than what urpubserves. the amazing thing was they charged us for the refused pathetic dish which i have never seen anywhere. this clearly shows ur hospitality, management and customer care.

the great indianpubis one of the best fine dine restaurants and bar i have ever visited. with subtle decor and elegant interiors , this place is very eyecatchy. the place has a proper mussoorie view , and looks alluring at night. i totally loved the food and the beautifully presented mocktails.
only drawback was pizza which was okayish to have. highly recommended are biryani balls , pav bhaji found you and chilly mushrooms. in mocktails , do try thai refresher and chilly strawberry mojito. also , they serve the best desserts in the town. chocolate chutzpah is a must here. the staff was congenial and the service was quick.

second visit
located at dehradun’s one of the best location, 1 found this beautiful place called the great indianpubat rajpur road.
they little change their ambience with velvet sofas and chairs, they have interior with beautiful warm hanging lights , but i found is this is little dark you can’t even see wt u r eating but still this place has got some really cool vibes... i really like the well with beautiful dramatic old wall paintings.
they have both inside and out side dining and open top roof place with beautiful view of mountains...
coming to my fav section which is food, we loved their tomato dhaniya shorba, apart from that i ordered afgani paneer thikka and in main course there is some special panner dish i forget the name of the dish but honestly i did not like the food as i expected.
overall it’s a mix experience in gip do visit the place and share the experience...

the ambience is very nice. i didn't expect apubto be this good in a small city like dehradun. outside ambience is pretty sweet, one can come here for a peaceful brunch and enjoy the scenic view of mussoorie hills. especially recommended to visit during cloudy weather.
the food and drinks are up to the mark and the overall branding of the place is done pretty nicely. a must visit!

i had visited the great indianpuba few days ago
went with my friends.
ambience of thepubis obviously great. they have outdoor sitting arrangement as well. washrooms are quite clean.
food is actually good. no doubt
i had paneer tikka in starters which tasted really delicious
white sauce creamy pasta which was again really nice.
fries platter which had masala fires, plain salted potato wedges.
and in beverages we had lemon iced tea which was good
hot chocolate and mocktail( forgotten the name)
everything was nice what i didn't like was that price did not match the quantity of the food.
quantity is quite quite less and food is expensive.

probably thee only descentpubin town. its well built and has an excellent terrace space with great views of mussoorie.

food - chicken tikka with tamarind is a great alternative to the usual ones. tandoori chicken is succulent and 'masaledaar' with the right amount of spice and tanginess. the pizzas are good and of a good size. biryani definitely is the best they offer amongst the indian dishes.

beverage - good options for beer and descent cocktails. beer tubs are of good value.

service - is very good and staff is attentive even on saturday nights when the place gets full.

overall, a good, clean, place to enjoy a weekend.

the bestpubin town. great music, ambience, foods and drinks. our personal favourite is chicken and chicken cutlets. sharabi murgi is a must try. rates are quite expensive, 1500 for two is sufficient without drinks. but it’s a must try place.

are you near dehradun? you can't afford to miss out this place called great indianpubin jakhan which is in route to mussoorie. this place has a prime location on 3rd floor with parking facilities available. the food i would recommend you is -
1. palak patta chat - very unique and crispy at the same time. served with curd.
2. veg pizza - super duper cheesy and was loaded with veggies
3. kiwi mint mocktail
4. paneer tikka - very soft and tender
5. chicken 65 - chicken stuffed in bread peices like a sandwich.
6. chocolate chusspa - most delicious among all. the best dessert you can ever have.
this place is a must go and has a great dinning space to. a special thanks would be to mr. girish who assisted me here.

we visited the great indianpubreading good reviews on a drizzly saturday night.

thepubhad some live music, with the singer belting out old rock classics, which added to the ambience of the place. we opted for outdoor seating , and had the non veg platter comprising fish,mutton and chicken kebabs alongwith a paan flavored hookah.

the platter tasted run of the mill, with none of the three variants tasting of anything much to write home about. the paan hookah was okay but tasted a tad too sweet.

we were really put off by the nonchalant attitude of the wait staff, who kept ignoring our calls despite calling out multiple times or fervent flailing of arms. they even scooted off ,and did not even bother to serve the starters to us.

we went on to try their mutton wood fired pizza, which failed to entice. we had a makhni paneer gravy served with tandoori rotis , and a pudding to end our meal.

whatever brownie points this outlet gained in terms of ambience and view, it lost out by the appalling behaviour and attitude of their unprofessional waiters.
