we visited the great indianpubreading good reviews on a drizzly saturday night.
thepubhad some live music, with the singer belting out old rock classics, which added to the ambience of the place. we opted for outdoor seating , and had the non veg platter comprising fish, mutton and chicken kebabs alongwith a paan flavored hookah.
the platter tasted run of the mill, with none of the three variants tasting of anything much to write home about. the paan hookah was okay but tasted a tad too sweet.
we were really put off by the nonchalant attitude of the wait staff, who kept ignoring our calls despite calling out multiple times or fervent flailing of arms. they even scooted off ,and did not even bother to serve the starters to us.
we went on to try their mutton wood fired pizza, which failed to entice. we had a makhni paneer gravy served with tandoori rotis , and a pudding to end our meal.
whatever brownie points this outlet gained in terms of ambience and view, it lost out by the appalling behaviour and attitude of their unprofessional waiters.
