first of all the minimum rating option is 1 so i rated 1 but the place doesn’t deserve the rating of 1.
if i could rate the place i would have been rated the place in negative.
pathetic place
the place where people order thefoodand the staff switch off the lights just to way off the people from the place.
hospitality is zero
do explore your options before going to this place and need to think twice before visiting here.
not at all recommended.

awesome place to hangout inspite of being a pub they serve alcohol only on weekends idk why but everything else seems to be good nice ambiencefoodmusic etc etc etc...

as the name goes, the great indian pub is truly great in every sense . right from thefoodto the cocktails , they have a wide range to choose from . the view is amazing and live music adds up to the entire experience.
vodka paani puri shots are just out of the world .
you can’t miss this place when in dehradun.

one of the worst experience, order mutton dish,it was half cooked and asked for replacement and that was half cooked and chef came over and asked waiter to serve chicken dish, which was ok, final surprise is when i was charged for mutton dish, which was not eatable in any condition and was replaced by their chef....foodpathetic and service is worst.last bill was a hand written paper bill will all taxes and charges,sensing fraud as well!!!! never visit this place !! it will spoil your mood, time and money !

felt superb best place for a weekend saturday night parties live band sports screening and average fingerfoodalcohol only only sat n sunday's....but ambience is great for an evening to spend wid your loved one's i really like d place 1st of its kind in ddun...!!

the great indian pub is a perfect place to hang around with friends or family. with beautiful ambience they provide both indoor and outdoor seating.
coming to food, they have variety of starters to offer, which are good enough to drop your idea of having main course. since you'll be full by starters only!
we had many starters and all were very fine.
prices are not very pocket friendly, but not that expensive as well. also they have very cool saturday party nights, for you to drool over some goodfoodand songs.
must try- kurumali chicken/paneer, chilli mushrooms, sharabi tikka, kitkat shake, fries bucket, chocolate chutzpah and what not.

highly overrated place.. except ambience there is nothing worth to visit it.. if you are going in party mood then let me clear that u'll be disappointed as they don't serve alcoholic drinks which is not mentioned in zomato.foodwas ok. service was bad as when we complained about thefoodwhich was served the chef reheated it and brought back the half dish which was left in the serving plate. onions and lemon served was definitely stale as one can figure out the fresh cut veggies esp a person like me who has a good culinary skills. we again complained about the dish which was bad in taste , half cooked and just tonnes on masala on the bones, the chef came and asked us to order some other dish of choice. now please dont say that it was cooked. many people really have good taste buds and have dined and tasted more than what ur pub serves. the amazing thing was they charged us for the refused pathetic dish which i have never seen anywhere. this clearly shows ur hospitality, management and customer care.

i would rate this place 4 only because the ambience was amazing. thefoodwas just okay. frankly, i did not feel anything like it was the best place in town as i was told.

a very lively place to chill. it gets better in the evening, the outdoor seating provides you the best view of mussoorie's skyline. beautiful ambience, excellent service, staff is courteous, they have live music as well, thefoodis delicious, their kebab platter is pretty good. the place gets crowded on weekends so make sure you go there on time and grab a corner table at the outdoor seating area on its beautiful rooftop.

ambience - 5/5. rooftop seating check, mussoorie view check, live music check, uplifting environment check, dance floor check. what else could you wish for in a restaurant/bar. not exactly a pub but very close to one. the indoor gives you this royal maharaja kind of vibe while the outdoor is inspired by houses in tuscany, italy. the place is the busiest one dehradun specially on weekends because of their various events and live band performances that they organise. best to at night hours but the place is not lit enough so no decent pictures. p. s. it's better to get a reservation here on a weekend night. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖food- 4/5.foodis decent, bar menu is even better. so manyfoodoptions so i would suggest you try north indianfoodbecause that their specialty. and cocktails, how did i forget cocktails. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖

food was alright but the ambience was noteworthy..the seating arrangement was also nice and there was an option to sit out in the open too..the best thing was the live music..btw i don't really care about thefoodif two conditions are met- first is the ambience and second is the music as i am a sucker for live music..

me and my friend were on our way back to delhi after a long trekking expedition. we reached dun bit early and had about 3-4 hours of free time before we catch our train. we decided to chill here considering its high rating. indeed the place lives up to its high ratings - great music with seating area both outdoors and indoors. as soon as you open the menu and go through the quirky contents you start getting the gastronomical hints. having said that,foodis amazing we majorly ordered light snacks like palak chat, vada pav, some fusion parantha and all of them were extremely yum with right kind of spice level. staff is extremely friendly and professional. hospitality is on point. if you are somebody who is missing out the big city chilling after spending days in the mountains or probably is bored of solace. this place is the perfect pick!

the great indian pub is one of the best fine dine restaurants and bar i have ever visited. with subtle decor and elegant interiors , this place is very eyecatchy. the place has a proper mussoorie view , and looks alluring at night. i totally loved thefoodand the beautifully presented mocktails.
only drawback was pizza which was okayish to have. highly recommended are biryani balls , pav bhaji found you and chilly mushrooms. in mocktails , do try thai refresher and chilly strawberry mojito. also , they serve the best desserts in the town. chocolate chutzpah is a must here. the staff was congenial and the service was quick.
