awesome place to hangout inspite of being a pub they serve alcohol only on weekends idk why but everything else seems to be good niceambiencefood music etc etc etc...

felt superb best place for a weekend saturday night parties live band sports screening and average finger food alcohol only only sat n sunday's....butambienceis great for an evening to spend wid your loved one's i really like d place 1st of its kind in ddun...!!

the great indian pub is a perfect place to hang around with friends or family. with beautifulambiencethey provide both indoor and outdoor seating.
coming to food, they have variety of starters to offer, which are good enough to drop your idea of having main course. since you'll be full by starters only!
we had many starters and all were very fine.
prices are not very pocket friendly, but not that expensive as well. also they have very cool saturday party nights, for you to drool over some good food and songs.
must try- kurumali chicken/paneer, chilli mushrooms, sharabi tikka, kitkat shake, fries bucket, chocolate chutzpah and what not.

highly overrated place.. exceptambiencethere is nothing worth to visit it.. if you are going in party mood then let me clear that u'll be disappointed as they don't serve alcoholic drinks which is not mentioned in zomato. food was ok. service was bad as when we complained about the food which was served the chef reheated it and brought back the half dish which was left in the serving plate. onions and lemon served was definitely stale as one can figure out the fresh cut veggies esp a person like me who has a good culinary skills. we again complained about the dish which was bad in taste , half cooked and just tonnes on masala on the bones, the chef came and asked us to order some other dish of choice. now please dont say that it was cooked. many people really have good taste buds and have dined and tasted more than what ur pub serves. the amazing thing was they charged us for the refused pathetic dish which i have never seen anywhere. this clearly shows ur hospitality, management and customer care.

i would rate this place 4 only because theambiencewas amazing. the food was just okay. frankly, i did not feel anything like it was the best place in town as i was told.

drinks are costly and not worth the price. milk shakes are too simple.

pizzas and pastas( orderer some form of pink pasta which was surprisingly orange and tasted bland ) are disappointing.

main course has good dishes which taste good but very less in quantity. overall definitely overpriced for what it offers.

food was alright but theambiencewas noteworthy..the seating arrangement was also nice and there was an option to sit out in the open too..the best thing was the live music..btw i don't really care about the food if two conditions are met- first is theambienceand second is the music as i am a sucker for live music..
would be visiting again.. :)

this was my first visit to dehradun and i heard this place is happening as it has live music. however, on arrival we were force to sit outdoor as there was no place to sit inside for two people. additionally, after we agree to sit outside they force to take table having two chairs and not the 4 one due to weekends they were expecting more people coming in, even though we requested, we would be leaving early. till we finish our dinner, there were many tables which were still empty. completely unprofessional and outsideambiencedark and no light to read menu

the place has a good vibe and a good one to hangout. but the food was not satisfying at all .. expectations are high from such places. had crispy corn (too salty) which was just fried and dakshini mutton chops ( 3 chops are given and is totally a bone served to eat no meat) .when u visit such a place u look for quality irrespective of the high price we pay. three stars are just for theambienceand staff .

second visit
located at dehradun’s one of the best location, 1 found this beautiful place called the great indian pub at rajpur road.
they little change theirambiencewith velvet sofas and chairs, they have interior with beautiful warm hanging lights , but i found is this is little dark you can’t even see wt u r eating but still this place has got some really cool vibes... i really like the well with beautiful dramatic old wall paintings.
they have both inside and out side dining and open top roof place with beautiful view of mountains...
coming to my fav section which is food, we loved their tomato dhaniya shorba, apart from that i ordered afgani paneer thikka and in main course there is some special panner dish i forget the name of the dish but honestly i did not like the food as i expected.
overall it’s a mix experience in gip do visit the place and share the experience...

theambienceis nice but they charge alot of service charge and the bar waiters dont have proper knowledge about the alcohol .

theambienceis very nice. i didn't expect a pub to be this good in a small city like dehradun. outsideambienceis pretty sweet, one can come here for a peaceful brunch and enjoy the scenic view of mussoorie hills. especially recommended to visit during cloudy weather.
the food and drinks are up to the mark and the overall branding of the place is done pretty nicely. a must visit!
