the great indian pub

the place has a good vibe and a good one to hangout. but the food was not satisfying at all .. expectations are high from such places. had crispy corn (too salty) which was just fried and dakshini mutton chops ( 3 chops are given and is totally a bone served to eat no meat) .when u visit such a place u look for quality irrespective of the high price we pay. three stars are just for the ambience and staff .

visited this place in sunday afternoon.it was almost empty ,ordered crispy corn and veggie pizza.
crispy corn was ok
veggie pizza was good.
seamless payment by zomato pro.
it was a good treat

the food - andra crispy corn 🌽 and malai chicken tangri 🍗 were great but the aglio olio 🍝 was a huge let down 👎🏻
also the cocktails aren’t boozy enough , thus not justifying the prices 👎🏻
but the service is fast n amazing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

i am allergic to egg and ordered crispy corn shown as vegetarian in the menu. the batter of the crispy corn had been prepared in egg which caused swelling in my throat. when i called their restaurant instead of being concerned they said egg is vegetarian only. these people don't understand that allergies can be life threatening.  highly unprofessional and untrained staff which doesn't understand the meaning of food allergies.

recently visited gip, fell in love with the vibe of the place. the staff is extremely humble and helpful and the service is pretty fast(yaay for that).

coming to the food,i ordered beetroot kebabs, crispy bruschetta and jodhpuri sauce in basil and lal mirch pizza.

i liked how crispy the kababs were from the outside and how nicely they were filled.

the crispy bruschetta was loaded with veggies,however it was spicer than expected and therefore i didn’t enjoy it as much as i would have liked to.

lastly,we ordered the jodhpuri pizza,the waiter warned us about the spice level but we anyway went for it. i definitely enjoyed the taste but oh my god was it spicy 🥵. if you enjoy spicy food, order this by all means otherwise bhool jaao or order it at your own risk,baba 🙈

the food was amazing. we ordered north indian and everything was just perfect specially the dal makhni.ambience was also lovely.

the food quality is worst. also, they don't serve any alacarte dishes. worst experience. the liquor being served is overpriced.

second visit
located at dehradun’s one of the best location, 1 found this beautiful place called the great indian pub at rajpur road.
they little change their ambience with velvet sofas and chairs, they have interior with beautiful warm hanging lights , but i found is this is little dark you can’t even see wt u r eating but still this place has got some really cool vibes... i really like the well with beautiful dramatic old wall paintings.
they have both inside and out side dining and open top roof place with beautiful view of mountains...
coming to my fav section which is food, we loved their tomato dhaniya shorba, apart from that i ordered afgani paneer thikka and in main course there is some special panner dish i forget the name of the dish but honestly i did not like the food as i expected.
overall it’s a mix experience in gip do visit the place and share the experience...

the ambience is nice but they charge alot of service charge and the bar waiters dont have proper knowledge about the alcohol .

the ambience is very nice. i didn't expect a pub to be this good in a small city like dehradun. outside ambience is pretty sweet, one can come here for a peaceful brunch and enjoy the scenic view of mussoorie hills. especially recommended to visit during cloudy weather.
the food and drinks are up to the mark and the overall branding of the place is done pretty nicely. a must visit!

food is good but its more of party place. so many times u have to stand and wait. it feels too crouded sometimes. food taste is average.

it's a great place to eat. the food is really good. the staff was uncooperative and did not decrease the volume of music even though we were the only people present. ruining the ambience, i won't recommend the place if you want a place to eat and have a nice chat with friends.

the mushroom sheekh kabab was amazing...

the food was really good. so was the koko punch cocktail we had. but the waiter mixed up our drinks and was unwilling to accept his mistake.

the place flaunts an amazing ambience. would definitely recommend for group outings especially at the evening. pasta wasn't that good. coffee was amazing. (hazelnut latte)
