both the ramen had good amount of toppings and broth was really good. we have also had their exotic mushroom ramen earlier, it's good but slightly creamy (because of mushroom) and i prefer the other. they have parking for 2-wheeler in the basement. not sure for the 4-wheelers

weorderedprawn tempura sushi and spicy chicken ramen and it was delicious to the t. you need to try their desserts if you visit. absolutely amazing ambience and the dishes will take your tastebuds on a trip.

pathetic taste and ambience.orderedcottage cheese closed bao and vegetable mixian ramen. both tasted yucky. very very bad experience. the restaurant looks cheap and old.

excellent place for japanese cuisine, had visited the there mumbai's spot too. loved there ambiance.

and the last, the desert we had was there special cranberry & soy milk parfait. which was gluten free and was damn delicious.

so on a weekend i went to fatty bao in indiranagar with my friend for afternoon lunch as it is the best place for asian food😍.
so iorderedboth food and drinks.
1.teriyaki glazed chicken bao
whch was amazing in taste and the portion size was really good and it is a good starter to start with.
2.bbq chicken closed bao knwn as shengjian bao also which taste super yummy and the dips with them were very good and was pairing very well with the baos.
3.malaysian chicken kapitan curry with sticky rice which was perfect in terms of flavour and was pure bliss to a foodie.
4.green apple and basil sangria
as i am a big fan of sangria i wanted to try this green apple and basil flavour with white wine which was very refreshing.
5.dancing shrimps:whch is also a starter motor f shrimps whch was cooked perfectly with the asian sauces n was a perfect pair to my sangria
overall my experience was amazing with this place in terms of food and drink.
would love to try this place again soon...

the staff is very courteous and helpful in terms of telling about their menu..

pricing: the price are normal and for two it costed 3500 approximately with alcohol..

i went to fatty bao for the first time after seeing great reviews. overall it was a good experience but it is overpriced. weorderedramen soup but got maggie noodles instead with maggie powder on top .
a bit disappointed with that .

maybe i went with more expectations. i dined in,ordered6 items including food and beverages (mocktail), of which 2 items weren't upto the mark(the taste). the place is small, but looks cute and nice, you get the kungfu panda vibes from the wall art. waiting time wasn't too long atleast for me. quality of the food was really good; the meat i meant. overall, a good experience but had expected a bit more. the parking wasn't pleasing too; a basement with a lot of leftover construction debris.

well short of time so a quick one. the ambiance was cosy but not matching to a standard the restaurant should have offered. especially for the prices concerning the food.
firstly no valet parking. man fending for myself in indiranagar for parking. then what are the premium prices i pay at the restaurant. secondly service was lousy. had to wait for their own sweet time to place our order. menu were taken unceremoniously from us because why would we need it. we have made the order anyways in their minds. if mains were to beorderedlater surely we could remember it in our minds. thirdly food was served cold. it still tasted well. goes to show how a wonderful chef is let down by clueless staff. all in all a great place to order food from. you atleast have the option of reheating it in the comfort of your own microwave.

we wanted to try something different so went to fatty bao. our experience was disappointing. at fatty bao you can get various ramen and baos. weorderedcottage cheese bao, mushroom ramen. mushroom ramen was liquidy and bland. the place is quite small. if you get the table towards the road side you can enjoy the view of 12th main. they serve beef also, being a vegetarian not a good experience.

apart from the cockroach that visited our table towards the end of our meal, the food was also not exceptional. we had very high expectations from a restaurant with such high rating.orderedteriyaki chicken bao(3/5), tempura fried fish bao(3/5), mushroom and truffle oil dumplings(4/5), raw mango and papaya salad(4/5), salmon avocado sushi, and cheesecakes(5/5). ambience was dull too. not our best japanese food experience. staff was also not the most attentive for such a small restaurant.

absolutely horrible experience. the ambience was shady. waiter didn’t bother to show to the table but just said ‘jaldi jaldi baitho’ no body bothered to serve any water. after halfway through the mail, someone came and kept empty glasses which never got filled.ordereda drink which turned to be simply sweetened cranberry juice. food was bland and simply uninspired. rudest waiters. one just came up and placed the menu literally on my hand and asked to order main course, since the kitchen is closing and that too at 2:30 pm!

4 of us cousins dropped by this place in a saturday afternoon. the place is small and cosy a bit hard to find because the board is not as evident as the other restaurants in the street.. but don't be fooled by it.

the tables were placed at a good distance from each other.

ok i'm getting right to it!! no complaint what so ever in every dish that we hadorderedhere!
right from the starters to the main course were lipsmackingly awesome!

even though we were thoroughly stuffed, we were in doubt if we wanted to order desert but boy i'm glad we did. because the difference between the two pictures of the japanese cheese cake and the spoons is less than 3 min!! this was by far the best cheese cake i've ever tasted. the fluffy well balanced cake paired so well with the tangy sweet cherry compote and the ice cream and also the crunchy bits around. i would definitely go back just for the cheese cake! kudos to the chef.

cons: drinks are a tad bit on the expensive side.

the bill for 4 starters, 3 mains, 4 drinks and 1 dessert was about 4700 for 4 people.

the restaurant name itself suggests its signature dish: the bao. this bao tastes somewhat like the softest version of the baby nun. we opted for chicken filling. and the teriyaki glazed chicken came wrapped up inside a literally fat bao. the other dish weorderedwas tsukemen ramen. it tastes like top ramen in spicy chicken soup.
the venue is small and that's why crowded. food is good, but the ramen of any flavour is not worth the price. ambience is cool for couples and friends looking to party.

iorderedin for their prawn tempura sushi roll. they were delicious but could have asked for more for the price. the prawn was perfectly crispy and the rice the right amount of sticky. will definitely be trying out their salmon sushi next.
