the fatty bao

had been there for a light lunch. ordered following :
asparagus tempura, cream cheese, sesame uramaki - 5/5
spicy red chicken ramen - 5/5
vegetable mixian ramen - 5/5
both the ramen hadgoodamount of toppings and broth was really good. we have also had their exotic mushroom ramen earlier, it'sgoodbut slightly creamy (because of mushroom) and i prefer the other. they have parking for 2-wheeler in the basement. not sure for the 4-wheelers

i had a great experience there in terms of both food and service. we had mixed veg and water chestnut dimsums which were the best. fried eggplant open bao was so nice with super soft baos and crunchy eggplant. mushroom ramen wasgoodtoo. the dessert fatty hill delivered what it said.

excellent place for japanese cuisine, had visited the there mumbai's spot too. loved there ambiance.
had ordered for :
- fish fried open bao : bassa fish with sriracha sauce,mayonnaise and pickled cucumber. what an amazing combo!!
-prawn & garlic chive dim sums which was sogoodand filling.
-chicken rice which was served with broth & vegetables
-fatty pho the best one so far. black noodles ramen tried for the first time turned out to be awesome.
and the last, the desert we had was there special cranberry & soy milk parfait. which was gluten free and was damn delicious.

overall agoodplace. we visited in a odd time so that many people weren’t to be seen.

so on a weekend i went to fatty bao in indiranagar with my friend for afternoon lunch as it is the best place for asian food😍.
so i ordered both food and drinks.
1.teriyaki glazed chicken bao
whch was amazing in taste and the portion size was reallygoodand it is agoodstarter to start with.
2.bbq chicken closed bao knwn as shengjian bao also which taste super yummy and the dips with them were verygoodand was pairing very well with the baos.
3.malaysian chicken kapitan curry with sticky rice which was perfect in terms of flavour and was pure bliss to a foodie.
4.green apple and basil sangria
as i am a big fan of sangria i wanted to try this green apple and basil flavour with white wine which was very refreshing.
5.dancing shrimps:whch is also a starter motor f shrimps whch was cooked perfectly with the asian sauces n was a perfect pair to my sangria
overall my experience was amazing with this place in terms of food and drink.
would love to try this place again soon...

the staff is very courteous and helpful in terms of telling about their menu..
presentation of food was upto my expectations.
pricing: the price are normal and for two it costed 3500 approximately with alcohol..

this had a lot of great ratings on zomato so i decided to try it out. i have to say i was quite disappointed. the only item on the menu which wasgoodwas the tempura sushi. the coconut ramen had a dull flavour and was drenched in oil. i've had much better asian food in places like you mee.

i went to fatty bao for the first time after seeing great reviews. overall it was agoodexperience but it is overpriced. we ordered ramen soup but got maggie noodles instead with maggie powder on top .
a bit disappointed with that .

maybe i went with more expectations. i dined in, ordered 6 items including food and beverages (mocktail), of which 2 items weren't upto the mark(the taste). the place is small, but looks cute and nice, you get the kungfu panda vibes from the wall art. waiting time wasn't too long atleast for me. quality of the food was really good; the meat i meant. overall, agoodexperience but had expected a bit more. the parking wasn't pleasing too; a basement with a lot of leftover construction debris.

we wanted to try something different so went to fatty bao. our experience was disappointing. at fatty bao you can get various ramen and baos. we ordered cottage cheese bao, mushroom ramen. mushroom ramen was liquidy and bland. the place is quite small. if you get the table towards the road side you can enjoy the view of 12th main. they serve beef also, being a vegetarian not agoodexperience.

it was not asgoodas it usually is.

the quantity of the food was less than expected.other than above problem the overall experience isgood.

strictly average or below average… taste was meh portion was meh service was meh they get ice creams from the frozen bottle nearby. don’t know how it has garnered suchgoodratings. test drive a dish before you order more.

iv known that this place gets quite crowded and people standby on waiting , luckily we got there by 1240 and could easily get a table. this is one of those few places that hasn't lost its touch post the pandemic.. and boy am i glad!! we devoured the food and wine. absolutely relished every bite. tried out all the veg dimsums , mushroom and the edamame one was really something else. and that red chilli sauce they serve with the dimsums..just yum! also tried the veg asparagus sushi , for someone who has never eaten sushi before i quite enjoyed it , the layering of sushi with wasabi paste and that dip was enjoyable. finished it off with a super satisfactory ramen bowl! honestly if i wasn't full and about to explode i would have loved to check out more items on the menu. can't wait to go back and explore more here.
i'm really surprised that this place has received some bad reviews , this is the third time i'm coming here and iv always left with nothing but satisfaction and joy of being able to enjoy their food.

the only con i can think of is that the place may be a tad understaffed , mainly 2 people serving tables. but if you've got somegoodcompany then waiting isn't going to seem like a big deal.
definitely a must try place for some pan asian cuisine

overall the food wasgood.thai curry could have been better
